I`m now at Berlin`s doors in the offline campaign, flying the King Cobra. I still have the bad habit of trying to turn-fight in it, But the Focke Wolf AI`s haven`t!

Just when I think I know what`s going on they`ll be blue tracer passing at a vertical- down angle right past my cockpit. I`ll turn, look and a FW will pass me dive then immediately head back up. A second time it happened with another FW. The thing ZOOOOMED past my cockpit at high speed, JUST missing me! Very exciting indeed. I said before and I gotta say it again, this NEVER happened with AI before AEP!

Well done Oleg! Keep improving. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Kozhedub: In combat potential, the Yak-3, La-7 and La-9 fighters were indisputably superior to the Bf-109s and Fw-190s. But, as they say, no matter how good the violin may be, much depends on the violinist. I always felt respect for an enemy pilot whose plane I failed to down.

i must admit the AI is greatly improved and its much more fun flying offline campaigns now
but i never seen a FW ore any other plane BnZ on me ,i think when it happens im gonna be very surprised as you wont expect it.

i just started playing a AEP spitfire campaign
in leningrad http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/crazy.gif after some editing.
and my first mission was at night about 03.00
and it was a scramble mission to intercept H111s and i must say its awesome
to see 10+ H111s coming at your base with their navigation lights on and the search lights looking for them
its my first AEP mission and im already pleased with what i see

Oleg im a very happy with AEP
thanks for all the great work you and your team have done ~S~

I have also noticed that AI on average setting, at least as enemy in the QMB, are more capable of successfully belly landing! I managed to down a 109E-7 that way in my C Stang!

in some aspects - in most others - like listening to commands - they are at an all time low imo

Ive seen some better stuff especially coming from ENNEMY AI (got shot down by a 'Cane who pulled a pretty good energy fight)

BUT

the AI still isnt good, its just better

yes, the major flaws are still there

Nav lights ON? http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/crazy.gif http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/blink.gif I bet those poor Heinkels did not enjoy the flight for a long time, did they? http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/mockface.gif

O, how I want to hold you,
To feel your breath
And hear your laughter in my ears.
To look into your eyes
And see myself in there.
Caress you with my lips.
To hold your hands in mine
And find the hidden smile in your dimple
That makes you irresistible
And stops the breathing in my chest.
To be with you when you are weeping,
To wipe away the tears and take away the sorrow.
To watch you while you are sleeping
Like there is no tomorrow.

And with a tender kiss to wake you up.

Wasnt this a forum for more objective issues, like bugs not for personal outbreaks?

hmm..I think it is a bug if planes fly over enemy territory at night with lights on

yes the H111s had their nav light on all the way to the dropzone they turn them off just before the bomb drop, and when they fly over target they turn them on again and fly home

but even my squad had thier nav lights on
they only turn it off for a short while when they engage the enemy and right after that they turn them on again
