Hello! I just wanted to know if Oliver Bowden's novels are just a sort of fan fictions or if they are actually related to the game. For example, what is written in his last novel, Forsaken, will it influence someway Assassin's Creed IV? (it would be really disappointing :( ) And is what Oliver Bowden writes is recognised by AC team? I've also noticed that sometimes what is written in his novels are in contraddiction with the game. What is your opinion?

Those books are re-telling of the main series plot with a lot of additional details. Looks like those books are canon. Sometimes you can even see additional scenes from them appear in later games. For example Christina memories in AC Brotherhood or Altair's seals memory fragments in AC Revelations based on Secret Crusade.
There are always such things as contradictions, even between games.
