This sentence:

Early reports say that naval battles, first introduced in AC3, are a huge chunk of the pirate-themed game, and assassination takes a backseat compared to past installments.

Made me very sad. Assassinations taking a back seat compared to past installments? Hell, these days assassination isn't even in the car since AC2, it's by the side of the road, hitch-hiking while Boring Economy Side-Quests drives the car, aided on navigation by his mate, On Rails Story Missions.

This game needs to go back to the 'Assassin' part of things, stop with all this unnecessary window dressing nonsense and make a game that I'll want to play again to try different approaches to the main contracts LIKE WITH THE FIRST TWO GAMES! Multiplayer is the only reason I still buy this misguided game, year after year like a loyal little consumer drone.
