Does anyone know who's the composer of AC4s music? If not, who do you wish would be the composer?

I'd love Lorne Balfe to do the soundtrack for this one. He's proved himself with TokW, now I want him to improve here.
While I'm sure many would love Jesper Kyd, I'd like to see him keep moving around with different projects. I feel he'd limit himself being just in this series. Going around for other stuff would keep his work fresh.

Bring Kyd back....Balfe can not be allowed to return after that travesty of a soundtrack.

Balfe did a SUPERB work on The DLC, so please Ubi........
Next time include his music during freeroam!

Why not both?

They did an awe-****ing-some job on ACR together. As for AC III, blame whoever decided to cut out the ambient music than Balfe. When you check out the full unreleased OST you'll find some verry fine tracks in there which were never used.

Both, either one...I don't care....they`re both great great composers and did magnificent jobs in their respective games

I really don't mind who does it, as long as it's good. I'd quite like to hear what John Powell/James Newton Howard could do with it, considering AC4 is supposed to be going in a new, more "HBO" direction, hopefully that will be reflected in the style of the soundtrack, and considering that the soundtrack seems to be included in almost every CE of AC4, they must be confident in its quality.

I would also like to have ambient music again, instead of it only appearing during fights then ending abruptly.

I don't think it's known at this point, but I sure hope it's either a team-up between Kyd and Balfe or... just Jesper by himself.

Lorne is fine and all but, having recently visited AC2, ACB and ACR, I much prefer Jesper Kyd's style. That being said, ACR and AC3's theme songs by Balfe are pretty cool.

Yeah, I totally agree with NBST. Kyd and Balfe together or just Kyd alone. Balfe is good composer but I just like Kid's style more. ACR and AC3 theme songs and 2 or 3 songs from AC3 (ToKW including) are really beautiful, though.

This new video seems to feature an extract of the soundtrack :

That definitely sounds like Lorne Balfe.

It has to be Jesper Kyd, if not Michael McCann is awesome, if you've heard the soundtrack to DE:HR, you'll know what I mean.

I like both Kyd and Balfe, so... I don't really care who will compose the soundtrack.
But if the two could work together again like in ACR, well, that would be the best of course xD

McCann blew my mind with the DEHR soundtrack. Dat "Icarus" track.. still listen to it every single day.

I'd suggest Jesper Kyd :D
He made some GREAT soundtracks for the franchise... (and ohter video games too ''ex. Hitman'')

I wouldn't mind both of them, but I'd rather have Jesper Kyd.

I'm willing to bet M's Beiber signature that it won't be Kyd, and I hope it's not. Balfe is awesome, and his style is more suited for this time period.
