View Full Version : ACIII - Redeemed code for Season Pass but I can't find any of the DLC in the game

Hello. I purchased a Season Pass code from an online retailer. I loaded up Assassin's Creed III, went to the Extras section and clicked Redeem Code and put in the code. I received a message saying "Season Pass unlocked". I then exit the game and loaded up the autopatcher which did a few updates but after that, when I loaded the game, I click on one of the DLC "Tyranny of King Washington", I receive an error "Download content not found. Please check your UPlay games." but I looked everywhere in UPlay, I can't seem to find any link to download the DLC so can anyone please help me with my issue? Thank you.

same problem here...bought the original ACIII from a local retailer and and bought the season pass on EA Origin, nothing happens after the redeem action is done...

Once you have bought the season pass and that additional content included with the pass has been released, you can get this content by going in the Extras - Additional Content menu of the game. All content included with the season pass that you can download for free will be clearly identified with "FREE" and "INCLUDED WITH SEASON PASS"

I bought a seasons pass and I cannot access any of the DLC. I click on the additional content menu and it chucks me on ubisoft website asking me to pay for DLC or a season pass. My code was accepted and was asked to restart the game. Any help would be superb





Once you have bought the season pass and that additional content included with the pass has been released, you can get this content by going in the Extras - Additional Content menu of the game. All content included with the season pass that you can download for free will be clearly identified with "FREE" and "INCLUDED WITH SEASON PASS"

Game said it would send a mail to our e mail but i got nothing so far and it s been more than a week . I contacted support but theyre under maintance it seems so i m stuck for now too :/

Well i can tell what it should be now . After you redeemed your code you should have get an e mail with a promo code . A codewhen u use it at shop it would make dlc s free . Without that code dlc s require money at shop . I m waiting for that code for 12 days ...

I have the exact problem but i have my Assassins creed 3 on steam and the season pass bought from green gaming. And i haven't received any email after i have redeemed the code.

Hi there,

For Steam titles - Once you have entered the Season pass code in the game, the game should auto update the next time you launch it = Steam send out updates for each new DLC so, please make sure your game is fully updated in Steam - if you have issues with this, please contact Steam support directly.

Steam may launch the Uplay client, however the Steam software should patch your game - as with all Steam games.

Try restarting Steam - or rebooting.


For non steam titles [Uplay] - after redeeming the season pass code in game - you willbe edible to receive emails when each DLC is released, directly from Uplay -These are sent out on release day for each part.

These emails are VERY important, since they contain both the product key AND download for each DLC - please check your registered email address and spam folders. If you do not have any emails - please contact support with your season pass details and order information. www.support.ubi.com (http://www.support.ubi.com)

Well i have entered the code yesterday and after that i have restarted steam and even validated the files. But still nothing. I will try the steam support and see what they say about it.

Well waiting for these mails for 2 weeks . I contacted your support but they didnt give any answer for more than a week . I think maybe because of system update question üs lost and asked again . Still no answer for 25 hours . Waiting .. Hope this support update ends quickly :/

orgin says nothing about recieving any further emails.... I entered the purchase code for season pass... and seemed to take ""Tyranny of King Washington", is now in start up screen of game.....
when I click on It I receive message "Download content not found. Please check your UPlay games."

I checked my emails even my junk file no further contact from orgin or Uplay..... soooooo what is going on
I sent an email to uplay support and haven't gotten a reply... am I screwed???
someone spending their hard earned money on a product should not have to go through this much crap to get what they paid for......

Go to your Ubisoft/Assassins Creed 3 folder, and you'll see folders for each chapter. Go into each folder, and there's an installation file. Run it, and it will properly install, allowing you to launch in game.

It was on a whim that I went to the folder, as I saw GW's journal is located in the game folder. Noticed the Infamy and The Betrayal folders. There's zero direction on how to set this up on PC, and that's something Ubisoft really needs to address.

Sorry to hear that. Thought that might have been the problem for everyone else :(

This is why developers need to use the mentality of keeping it simple. They made the process complex enough that there are multiple failure points. Guess I was fortunate enough that it was just final installation step that failed for me.

I waited two weeks and they just said " we dont like where you buy our games we will not help you ." Dont buy any ubisoft product . It's just waste of money ...

ok problem still not resolved... I spent quite some time with EA / Orgin support today both online and on the phone.... after quite the lengthy ordeal and two codes later still nothing... EA informed me that they could not help me and sent me back to Ubisoft to fix problem... Ubisoft then informed me it was not there problem and that the code given to me works.... ubisoft informed me that code if fine thats not issue.... Ubisoft informed me that Orgin should send me links to other websites to download DLC.... Sooooo i return to EA/Orgin support and go through the same bull again... being handed down from one person to another.... still no help.... Now I have to wait to speak with a EA support specialist for the fourth time at 10am.... Ubisoft refuses to give me the links to the downloads because I ordered from Orgin instead of UPLAY.......... UBISOFT your costomer support sucks.. why would you have to enter a code for an online pass and then have to go to another link to download given to me by another vender.... If you don't want me to buy a product from orgin why did you sign a contract with that company to allow them to sell it......
May I say this is stupid... why cant I just get the stupid link to the download page from you and save me alot of head ache..... Im ****** off

I have the same problem and never received an email. If I did receive one it would had gone into my spam and now deleted how do I get it sent again? I check my spam before I delete and I'm 99% sure I didn't receive anything.

For missing dlc / product codes due to emails being deleted - you need to contact support.

they can resend it to you.

After activating the code, you need to download and run the DLC installation files. This is not done in game, the download links should be provided by the store where you bought the Season Pass.

Purchase DVD box set from retailer and then the season pass on origin. inserted the key in-game and activated. i have not received any email regarding the DLC content. Cannot seem to find any help from Origin either.

Please contact Ubisoft support - with details of your Uplay account and the season pass code.

You need to have emails sent to you - with the links for the DLC and product codes - support should be able to resolve this for you.

Sorry Mr_Shade we know that this is all you can do, but general message is that support DOES NOT work. At least you are responding that is why more things come up here. With enough uproar maybe Ubi will fix the damned thing in game instead of sending people to argue for what they already paid for. This is unacceptable.

It is unacceptable....I bought the Season Pass, and recived no Email.
I contacted support (weekand) and, no their fult but I recived the answer 3 days later. They gave me the code and I redeemed it.
The season Pass is unloacked but I can't access the DLC from anywere. No links, nothing in my "games" in Uplay as it says in after telling me that no downloable content was found.....
The support guy also gave me a free code for the Redemption DLC that I "couldn't download". This reddirected me to the store and I bought it with the provided cupon, then I got A DOWNLOADBLE FILE. I downloaded it and now I have the Redemption DLC, but nothing else!!!!
" contact support" isn't helpful at all in 95% cases. This is an unacceptable custumer service and a horible DLC system design.....

Hello Yesterday I bought a season pass to the Assassins creed 3, and when I was playing, in DLC, "The Tyranny of King Washington" Episode 1, in the final mission, after the first checkpoint is nothing I can do: I have lost the ability to kill, run, climb, interact with objects, use eagle vision, I can only walk slowly and hide in shelters. (this mission with dogs). I looked at the passage of Youtube there no one had any such problems. I wanted to ask, how do we fix this bug?

(это миссия с собаками). Я посмотрел прохождение на Youtube не у кого не было таких проблем. Я хотел спросить, как же мне исправить эту ошибку?

I am having the same issue. I opened a ticked with Ubi support. I redeemed the code in the game for the Season Pass, but when I go to Additional Content, it just takes me to a webpage that tells me to buy it. I've tried with Chrome and IE 11.

Very Frustrating.

I never heard back from Ubi support, but I solved my issue. I bought the Deluxe Edition from GameFly. Their install instructions didn't mention this, but you use the key they give you to unlock the DLC content, but then you have to download the DLC content from GameFly. If you go to your GameFly download manager, they will be on the list of stuff to download. Once downloaded and installed, I was able to access King George from the ACIII menu.

As far as the other DLC, what is the best way to determine if I have, in fact, correctly unlocked and installed the content in the game? Benedict, etc...?
