I'm new to Assassin's Creed and started with AC3. I didn't know anything about the gameplay in AC so at first I was disappointed with the linear gameplay. Only did the whole game world open up for me when Connor was an adult and recveived the homestead did I fall in love with this game. I can't get enough of this game absolutely awesome. I can't figure out why it only received a 8 point something review score this a 10 hands down.

8 is not too bad...actually 8 is pretty good, oh btw...prepare yourself for the "you should play the Ezio trilogy" crowd ;D

They`ll try their best to enforce the idea that it is a fact that AC II, ACB and ACR are so much better than AC III and that you`re a newbie with no valid opinion, because you`re new and do not know anything...etc

good luck

New guy should play the Ezio trilogy. Not because it surpasses AC3 like a Spartan surpasses a crippled old man, but because it's a great trilogy of games and any AC fan owes themselves the joy of playing it.

And now, a not-related-to-your-post-but-relevant-to-games-in-general rule of thumb: Ignore numerical scores, whether from critics or players, because the people giving them are idiots. They're only any use if you require a really stupid way to represent human opinion. What, exactly, is the difference between 5 and 6, anyway? What feature does a 5 lack that a 6 doesn't? How about 6 versus 6.5? Nobody can say, because numbers are a really stupid way to represent human opinion.

The point of this is that it gives a general idea, and obviously if it's based on 600-800 people, then you can assume what the general feeling are towards the game, nobody said it's accurate.

You posted a large image of it with (I may have the exact words wrong) "How about what the users thought?"

Now, I may be wrong, but that heavily implies you think it matters. And it would only matter if it were accurate. The only thought that counts is the individual player, and that thought can only be reliably formed by playing. Or, at least, watching others play.

Yes I think it matters. No that's bull being completely accurate has nothing to do with it, that's why it's called a general consensus.

A general consensus of...What, a few hundred? Let's use your 800 estimate.

Remind me, how many play these games worldwide?

Well, AC3 sold 12 million units last I noted the figures. Let's do some math:

12,000,000 - 800 = 11,999,200

Well, that's where it becomes inaccurate enough to not matter. The consensus of less than a quarter of a quarter of a quarter (and so on) of players is no consensus worth noting.

Well, AC3 sold over seven million units.
12 million units.....just sayin >_>

As opposed to...you?

What's that even supposed to mean?

Right...you'll be a great developer someday.

Nothing worth addressing was said. You made literally 0 points.

Subtracting 800 from 12mil hahahahahahha just goes to show you really don't understand how it works.

You made literally 0 points.

There are no points. The word you want is "figuratively" or perhaps "metaphorically".

"Literally" would require an actual point system.

But that's wrong. You made figuratively no points doesn't make any sense.
