Connor's Kanien'keha name is pronounced differently by almost everyone who says it. Official sources explain the phonetics as Ra-doon-ha-gay-doon, but nobody in-game actually pronounces it like that. Some of the differences are very subtle, but they're still noticeable.

Connor pronounces it as Ra-do-han-ge-don.

Which is closest to how you say it? Do you have a completely different way of saying it? Do you avoid saying it altogether and just call him Connor? While this is pretty insignificant, I just thought it was interesting how many different ways it was pronounced.

I prefer to say it like Kanen'to:kon, because he is voiced by Akwiratékha Martin; one of the Mohawk consultants for AC3.

Just call him Connor. AINT NO BODY GOT TIME FOR THAT. Not even Achilles. If someone as beachin' as Achilles says Connor, then I will too.

I always thought it was Ra-doon-ha-gay-doon.

The way they say it is pretty similar, but a complicated name like that obviously means pronounciation will vary slighlty from person to person.

Radohn-hah-kaaay-dohn

Its easy for me....Hindi is equally tongue twisty (sometimes) as Connor's mother-tongue

Like OP, I say it the same way Kanen'to:kon does

Probably because the first time I heard the name in-game was when they released the preview of sequence 6 in which Kanen'to:kon calls him by his real name.

Yes, the name is pronounced Ra-doon-ha-gay-doon. Only the Clan Mother, Ziio and Kanen say it right. And unless I have hearing problem, I'm pretty sure they all pronounced it similarly...
As for Connor, obviously he changed the tone in order to fit with the accent he's speaking at the time.
And as for the others, it's pronunciation problem. :D The voice actors of Kahionhaténion and his brother doesn't sound like they're Native Mohawk speakers so I think it's nothing big for them to pronounce it like that.

The 3 main Native characters all pronounce it very similary AND the same way the as the Kanien'kehá:ka language consultant does here: http://youtu.be/GOLU5L072tg?t=3m36s So that's obviously the correct way, even if there are some little differences. Everyone else clearly wasn't fluent in the language :p

im gonna stick with the way connor says it, you'd hope he could pronounce his own name hahaYou'd hope but as much as I love Noah and his performance, it's really obvious that he didn't pronounce it correctly since all the actors who are actually fluent in the language and the language consultant pronounce it differently

Not to mention that he`s Blackfoot, not Mohawk...So it`s not even his native language..

I've convinced myself that he was deliberately mispronouncing it during that scene so it would be easier on Achilles' English ears  Though it does seem like something they should have picked up on and corrected during the recording sessions.

I've always wondered, though, why are the Mohawk names spelled so oddly? I mean, the native speakers obviously didn't use English letters, so it seems like whoever translated the names and other proper nouns would have spelled them out phonetically. I mean... if it's pronounced Radoonhagaydoon, why the hell did the European who transcribed it in the English alphabet spell it Ratonhnhake:ton? There is no 't' sound, and in no European language that I'm aware of do they insert random apostrophes and colons in the middle of words.

I'm sure the proper spelling is something relatively recent. Back then most people didn't even know how to spell their own name, let alone a native's. :p As people gained more understanding and respect for the native culture, they started spelling it as the natives think it should be spelled.

The way it is said it's pronounced is like others said: Ra-Doon-Ha-Gay-Doon as Zio and Clan mama, and other navties say it in the game
When Connor says it, it definately sounded diffrent when he told Achilles, it sounded like: Rad-Own- Ha-Ga-Don (in the game, it sounded like Connor said his name 'fast') and Achilles gave up saying "Im not..evening going to try to pronounce that)

I pronounce it as Ziio. Sounds the nicest.

To the OP: maybe it would be nice to make a poll?

It makes me think that he probably spoke most of the Mohawk dialogue incorrectly

They had a Mohawk language consultant in the room with him while he delivered the lines in the village sequence. I'm thinking the consultant wasn't there when Noah pronounced Connor's name, since it was just one Mohawk word in an all-English conversation. No need to pay him for sitting in on a full recording session when he would only need to supervise one word.

Anyone notice how Ziio's name was pronounced differently in the DLC?
In AC3 it was God-zi-ziio or something and in the DLC it's Go-did-diio? :|
