Hey guys, just want to put out feelers on how people would like an Assassin's Creed fan film set throughout the events of the Irish War of Independence? We wanted to create a high quality fan film (not the iPhone-shot, 12 year old actors made in movie-maker nonsense) but with 4k resolution cameras and professional equipment and actors, that follows the inner-workings of Michael Collins and the IRA with their fight against Britain. We thought this event would be appropriate due to the similar "guerilla warfare" tactics and methods seen in both the fictional Assassins and the realistic IRA fighters. If the idea gets popular enough, we can start our Indiegogo campaign and have AC fans contribute to the film. Thanks in advanced for the feedback!

Oh wow, i jokingly had this idea a while ago, was going to mockingly post it up here. However mine was somewhat more offensive.

Yeah sure why not, good luck on ya.

I think it would be cool. The history of that time fits well with the AC lore. Collins' "12 apostles" performing hits on spies and officials and all.

I find fan films often gets akward and silly even if tis not made by 12eyar olds with iphones.

Also trying to raise money using the assassins creed brand might cause some issues.

I think he's talking about copyright stuff, but if it's just a fan film, it's not like you're going to be marketing and distributing it without Ubi's permission.

No we are not. Its a non profit fan film. The only things that we will be distributing are different perks for donations for the film (ex: a digital copy of the film for a $25 donation/ a film-used prop for $50 donation) etc.
