Does anyone know yet if Alex Hutchinson is working on AC4? I'm a huge fan of his work so I hope he's working on Black Flag in some way.

Forgot what? He turned a handheld title into a decent AAA game, that's good enough I'd say, remarkable even.

Its widely known the DLC content was intended to be in the game in another way. But higher ups made it so it ended up as dlc instead. i cant bother finding you sourcces and proof. Theres podcasts around.

Never know, he was intending to leave when Revelations was done anyways, he may have taken the blame for it because he was leaving.

Well he probably meant that he chose that part to be DLC, as in, the concerned dept asked him which portion could be made into a DLC instead of in the game and he chose that you can blame him for that I guess but what I'm saying is that's not his own decision that it should be made a DLC at all in the first place. Get what I mean?

So it` still his decision ? Is that what you want to say ? Not his decision to make DLC in general, but CHOOSE what becomes DLC ?

Twisted, but essentially yes, that it wasn't made as a DLC, but well he had to make something as DLC and probably chose it. What else could they cut?

Not too fussed that its Alex, revelations modern day was done poorly but Ezios wrap up was pretty good, have high hopes for this game.

I predict that people will still be butthurt about the lack of Connor's nipples, the modern day story will suck, and that people on the multiplayer discussion will have another crusade about how Gun/Smoke Bomb/Animus Hack should be banned.

The following article specifically labels Ashraf Ismail as the "Game Director" and Jean Guesdon as the Creative Director. In the Adam Sessler video, he actually introduces Ashraf as the Game Director, but the other credits mistakenly call him the Creative Director. Not surprising, as Game Director isn't a role I've seen often.

Probably AC4: X subtitle - starring another Kenway, since it's become their saga.

I was under the impression that Ashraf Ismail is the creative director. But it seems he is some sort of overall "game director". As for Jean Guesdon, I've seen him labelled creative director, but also as this:

I hope not. We've dodged a bullet on this game I'd rather he stay away from the AC series. He's proven that he doesn't understand the story at all.

That's a matter of opinion.
My least favourite is AC1... too repetitive for my taste.
I hate repetitive games... I hated L.A Noire for the same reason, and lots of people said it was a masterpiece.

In my views
1 - AC2
2 - ACB
3 - AC1
4 - AC3
5 - ACR
I know most of the people would disagree but its my personal opinion ,so i prefer Pat to be the next creative lead and words about ACB Pat left the team before the game was shown in E3 so we can say that it was not made fully under his eye.

Actually, it sounds like Alex is working on the NEXT AC game. AC4 started development mid 2011, so I'm not sure how useful it is to have someone jump on board as director one year later. Furthermore, Alex hasn't been visible in any of the promotion for AC4.
