View Full Version : Alchemy in AC? Possible? Give me your thoughts

Right, so, in the jewish folklore there was a legend about an artificial being, that was the golem. take a look: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golem. That golem inspired the later alchemists to create themselves an artificial form of life, this time arround, called homunculus, wich was one of the main goals in alchemy (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golem). Well, so what?, you might ask. So, we know TWCB created human being somehow and those story could very well be a refference to them. Yeah, but that doesnt add ****... Oh but wait for it. You probably know the lapis philosophorum or the philosopher's stone, right? well, it was a legendary cataliser that increases alchemy greatly. so, what if that **** was a POE and that's what TWCB used to create not only humans, but most of their civ? What if that is a core piece in the AC cosmology? Well, I leave further speculations for you, gentlemen.
