Hello
I have a MS Sidewinder FF2 and I have a problem with Il-2 FB.
The joystick works at the highest force whatever level I set. I try to regulate the FF level both in the game and in the PC control panel, but without results. I can fly and fire properly only by switching off the force feedback. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-sad.gif
Is there another way to adjust the force feeback level (i.e. by editing the .ffe files in the game force feedback directory), or maybe a patch?

thanks

B

I have posted this many many times so you could use the search option but since I personally know that it sometimes just dosent work here goes.

1 Go here http://yaim.host.sk/

2 DL the Force editor program

3 make a back up copy of your force files ( in your FB install folder/Force feedback)

Then just start experimenting with the Force editor program. I have really faint forces when shooting since it really messes up the aim)

Hope this helps

think it might be in conf.ini somewhere, as in technical forum or check out luckyboys guide, they may be useful sources of info.

also, tried turning it down in the joystick properties, in the control panel? i have that joystick and its fine in sturmovik, or maybe im just used to the feedback?

I have some modified FFB files here:

Set one (http://www.enkel.demon.co.uk/ForceFeedback.zip)

and here

Set two (http://www.enkel.demon.co.uk/ForceFeedback2.zip)

FB ignores the SW panel settings http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
