Don't know, but they are an important part of the PTO. Pretty planes, too http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

It sure would be nice to see them. Maybe they'll come in a patch. I guess we could use the A-20 or B-25 as a stand-in when creating NZ campaigns.

On the positive side, there are many other types available that NZ operated - Brewsters (in RAF service), P-40s, Corsairs, Dauntless, Catalina (flyable soon), Avenger (AI only for now), so we're gonna be pretty well represented.

We just need to make sure that PF supports NZ squadrons, and that there's some keen Kiwi out there who can research and develop some historical campaigns for us from Singapore 1941 to Bougainville 1945.

There is a Harpoon parked a few blocks from my house. I didn't even know it was there until a friend told me about it and brought me to look at it. It looks as if it is mostly restored but hasn't been worked on in awhile. It is painted blue and looks like the inside is packed full of parts yet to be put back on.

Hardball; While I can't comment on the state of play for a/c and what's in PF (NDA forbids), I can say I have made the offer repeatedly re data for RNZAF campaigns to those who do the campaigns for PF. They are aware of this and have said they will contact me IF they do RNZAF campaigns.

You are right in that the a/c officially mentioned already include most of RNZAF Pacific planes http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif, but the big problem is maps, as the RNZAF was in South Pacific and the number of maps vs theatres the RNZAF was in is quite small. This you should have figured out by the amount of work that Luthier and Co have done with/to/for Carriers. RNZAF/RAAF/Dutch etc have little to do with them. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

If the RNZAF campaigns are done (there is no guarantee of that (or anything for that matter)), but if they are done I will be supplying them data for it should they need it (and they will because the RNZAF records are a complete shambles - I know that for a fact) http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-surprised.gif http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-sad.gif http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-mad.gif.

For now, sleep easy. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-happy.gif You should like PF. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif Go pre-pay for it. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif I have. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Even the horse's mouth is here.

I'd very much like to see the PV1 Ventura added. It played a key role in several engagements and was a bomber with "fighter-like" handling. Another important addition would be the Privateer (a modified B-24 with a single vertical stabilizer instead of the twin fins of the original), but I'm afraid the only flyable bomber will be the B-25 (if you don't include the Ju-88 that will be released at the same time)
