I Just Finished Playing AC 3, And It Was A Total Disappointment :(
In AC 3 You Fight Mainly For Your Village, And In Ezio's Trilogy You Fought For Peace And There Was Something Called Assassin's CREED.

--------- Assassin's CREED = Nothing is true, everything is permitted ------------

Assassin's Creed 3 Totaly Forgot About The Assassin's CREED, Connor Just Wanted To Make His Village Safe. And I Didn't Give A F**k About His Village, Eather Way The Village Was Destroyed, So I Just Wanted To Share My opinion With U Guys And Ubisoft If Anyone Will Actually Ready It. :(

My Ratings For The Assassin's Creed Games On A Scale To 10 :
AC 1 = 6
AC 2 = 10
AC Brotherhood = 9.5
AC Revalations = 9
AC 3 = 3 ( I Forced My Self To Complete The Game For Desmond's Part In The Story )

We Will Miss You Ezio Auditore Da Firenze R.I.P

AC 3 = 9(8 actually because of the bugs/glitches)

I guess he means, the village of connor got destroyed either way.

Did his village get destroyed? I must have fallen asleep at that part. As much as I love this franchise and enjoyed playing AC3 towards the end I found myself getting slightly bored, and thats never happened in an AC game before. i could not wait to get to the end just so it would be over (and lets not mention the ending). Ezio's trillogy was much better, especially AC2.

No the village is still there . i also don't know why he said destroyed, but i guess he means the sequence when connor is still a kid.

SPOILER

He probably means Conner's people are gone at the end of the story.

Thought so, I remember it being deserted at the end.

^spoiler alert :)
i also agree to that.
but I still enjoyed playing ac3 somehow new features, new things, bigger world and naval battle<-wow! if only i could navigate to the sea from boston to new york or new york to homestead while steering the wheel, that would be awesome. or i can board ship like what connor did and blow the ship on your own, now thats freedom.

Oh yes I forgot about the naval battles...they were outstanding, I could have played a whole game just of them =D

Just because nobody said "Nothing is true everything is permitted" doesn't mean the game forgot the creed it's not like Connor went around killing innocent people as a matter a fact even though this isn't a tenet Ezio had to the learn to respect the dead Connor just knew...but anyway.

I completely agree that AC3 lost the plot with the assassin part of the story. By the end, Connor and his cohorts were acting more like a Government than a secret clan, it all gets a bit too stupid, which is why I never pay any attention to it and just get on with the game. If I gave the story any credence or bothered getting invested in it then I'd be like countless other people who hate it. That's what happens when you start playing games for the story instead of the game.

I thought Connors story was fantastic. That he wasn't consumed by the Creed and still fought foir his people made him more human and a better Assassin imo. The assassins fight for free will and agaisnt indoctrination.

Where have you been good sir?

Anyways, perhaps I just have low standards, but every single AC game has blown me away every time i've played it. There's not a single one I didn't like or think was a masterpiece.

AC1-9
AC2- 10
ACB- 9.5
ACR- 10
AC3-9.5

And I have to disagree with the OP. Maybe Connor did indeed forget about that specific Creed, but the Assassin ideal of freedom for all was a key element that was constantly mentioned and challenged throughout the game, just as it was in previous games. This time it was different however, because the Templars themselves had good arguments for what they were doing, and points to counter Connor's.

Ok so I might as well do this.

AC - an 8. Purely because of the ability to climb everything. A long story, a nice auto upgrade system and a great plot twist.
AC2 - An 8.5. Loved the setting, the story was good but jumped around in time a bit too much for my liking. Better mission structure and a long story.
AC:B - 8.5 - Loved the new free flow combat, the story was also good but way too short! Sequence 8 was so linear and consisted of 2 missions it should have been in sequence 7.
AC:R - 7 - Story was weak, I felt Ezios character lost his wiseness and became really reckless. Story was also short. Hookblade overhyped, bombs overhyped.
AC3 - 8.5 - Game mechanics are good, like the snow effects/animations. Story was inconsistant, felt a bit short. Don't know how the devs said it was longer than AC2.

Why did you put your scores, but then in brackets put a lower score. You do know the Internet isn't like real life, you can delete stuff and type it there again? Actually no, I didn't want to write that. Nevermind

Wasnt really the best storyline but as hell fun multiplayer ( the others were just copy and paste new guys and maps my own opinion) but the Free Roam, achievements and side missions were really fun to do...!

I do hope that in the next game they elaborate on Connor and Achilies {doing similar like ACR we get to play key parts in Achilies's life.} I'm not even going to compare him to a certain Italian lad. I mean that's the first time gamers got to experiance the "life" of a character. While Connor wasn't able to will develop a personality in this game. {he had to grow up fast due to the events that happened.} I'm still excited for whatever endevors take place in future games.

AC1 - 7 (too repetitive, crap gameplay, story is the only thing that kept me playing
AC2 - 9.5 (fixed all flaws of it's predecessor going above and beyond)
ACB - 8.5 (the addition of full sync sucks yet you need it to unlock hidden sequences, improved combat, awesome 1st 15 - 20 minutes then story swindles downhill)
ACR - 8.0 (meh story, weird additions like Den Defense, Desmond tetris scenes should have been omitted, awesome ending kind of makes up for it)
AC3 - 7.5 (LOL)

AC: 6.5 (good for the time but much improvement need to made!)
ACII: 15 (yeah we took this sh*t off the charts. lol. No really 9.5 Great game! I loved it from beginning to end)
ACB: 7 ( I feel like this was fine tuned AC2 except you can now ride horses into town? wtf.. oh yeah and call assassins??)
ACR: 6 (6 is really pushing it here. I struggled to finish this game as I felt the series was just dragging out Ezio's story.and keeping all the same mechanics essentially boring but still played.)
AC3: 9.5 (This game was such a welcomed change! Also took place in one of my favorite time periods, Connor was a drastic change from Ezio, it was like drinking coffee then POW. KICK IN THE FACE)

Note that my ratings for the games don't necessarily equate with which ones are my favorites. For example I gave AC2 a higher score than AC1 while AC1 is my favorite of the two.

AC1: 8.5 (Great story, great atmosphere. Loved the intrigue of the modern-day story. Some gameplay aspects were a bit clunky or rough around the edges, like traveling from city to city. Loved the freedom and planning involved in assassination missions.)
AC2: 8.8 (Story was very engaging, the cities interesting and the characters memorable. Glyphs and tombs added refreshing variety and mystery. Enemy AI and combat was dumbed down, unfortunately. Graphics were a bit dodgy: the gritty realism and washed-out colors of AC1 were replaced by bright colors and somewhat cartoony character designs, fabrics and skin looked like plastic. There was more linearity than in the first game, but still enough missions where you could choose your approach.)
ACB: 9 (Took everything that was great about AC2 and built upon in or expanded on it. Combat was made even easier but the chain kills made it more fun than ever. Rome was a great city. Existing characters were given more depth and personality. Missions were varied and stealth was encouraged. Running around modern-day Monteriggioni as Desmond was fun. Multiplayer was fantastic.)
ACR: 6 (Constantinople was colorful and interesting, best atmosphere since AC1. Bombs were fun, though rather unnecessary. Desmond's Story felt disjointed from the rest of the game, though it was beautifully designed. Alta´r's segments were a huge letdown. The story was extremely short, side missions were sorely lacking and none of the characters were the least bit interesting. Multiplayer was a dysfunctional, unfinished mess.)
AC3: 6.9 (Modern-day parts were cool. Hunting was fun. Combat was slightly more challenging than in previous games. Naval battles were great. Graphics were amazing. Haytham was the only truly interesting character. Lots of bad mission design in both the main story and side quests. Bad/non-existent tutorials. Frustrating enemy AI. Terrible conclusion to the Desmond saga. Multiplayer is a huge improvement over ACR, though still can't quite surpass ACB's MP.)
