...please make sure to model the TBD using the colors and markings of VT-8, to honor the men of Torpedo Eight who's sacrifice at Midway was the decisive factor.

Maybe the one most fitting is that of George Gay, the only crewmember to survive that faithful attack. Let us not only remember those who died, but honor those who survived!

That was a terribly coordinated attack. Sending up torpedo bombers without a blocking force and adequate fighter cover was suicide. I don't think the USN had much of a choice given the situation though. Sad...

Let us also model a skin and a not forget the famous 53rd Sentai who with their Ki-45s tried to prevent many of their people dying a horrible death, sometimes sacrificing themselves by ramming into the B-29s.

Always two sides to a coin.

Indeed, never intended the original request to be onesided.

Actually I always like to see skins that have a meaning, other than just beauty that is. In a way, these sims are not only a game but a living monument. One that recreates events that many would otherwise forget.

IMHO a good skin should reflect both the unknown majority, but at the same time in its uniqueness try and capture a moment worth reflecting or a man worth remembering.

Not only model "ace no. 24" etc etc etc
