Mine is Desmond, followed by Lucy. Desmond because I got attached to him after a while and felt like I WAS him.

i picked shaun, his cheeky british humor and his cynical views of the world are very amusing, and interesting.

I decided to pick Daniel. I really loved what they did with him in the Fall and the Chain, and it really made me feel for him. Especially at the end of the fall, when his assassin life he chose was taken from him, and he went to the templar ways. Desmond is a close second, since we followed him for over 5 games.

I chose shaun because everyone I know from school says he's just like me, in fact the first time my friend played AC2 he called me up at 11 at night and said "DUDE! THAT BRITISH GUY SHAWNY OR WHAT EVER IS EXACTLY LIKE YOU!!!" that and he's so funny.

Oh cool, a poll about the modern day characters, not not just another one about the ancestors.

...

NO CLAY.

William Miles hands down. The air of mystery around that man is just so engrossing, reminds me of the old Ezio. Would love to know more about his past exploits and see his role expanded in the coming games.

Shaun comes a close second. His catchy comments and database entries always bring a smile, right from AC2.

I liked William Miles because of the actor who did the voice work - John de Lancie. He was "Q" on Star Trek: The Next Generation.

I also liked that he punched Desmond in the face.
