I have a dell laptop with core i5 and AMD Radeon HD 7670 graphic card. The game randomly crashes, sometimes after 5 minutes, sometimes after 20 minutes. What to do?

Exception code: c0000005 usually happens when occurred memory access violation. Possible reasons and fixes is few:
1. Probably you are not running the game with proper rights which it may require so to be sure everything is ok force game to run as an administrator. To do so you need to go to your game folder and for three files: ac3sp.exe, ac3mp.exe and assassinscreed3.exe, click on them with right mouse button, go to properties, next to tab "compatibility" and in there check these two: "run this program as an administrator" and "disable display scaling on high dpi settings"
2. May be caused by drivers so you should to update your drivers to latest available versions. Drivers i'm thinking about are: graphics card, sound card, network card.

I had exactly the same problem. My game crashed quite often in title screen, sometimes I was able to play ~1 minute.
Intel i7-980x, ATI Radeon 5970, Windows 7 64bit Home Edition.
I fully uninstalled all ATI drivers using this guide: http://www.brightsideofnews.com/news/2012/4/4/guide-how-to-completely-uninstall-amd-graphics-drivers.aspx and installed the latest beta drivers.
Then I removed overclocking of 5970 (voltage 1162mV -> 1049 mV, Engine clock speed 850 MHz -> 725 MHz, Memory clock speed 1100 MHz -> 1000 MHz)
Finally I reinstalled DirectX 11 and the actual game.
-> Now everything works like charm :)
