Just a thought and a bit of a gamer wet dream I have. AC set in Victorian London. Smoggy, Jack the Ripper, Oxford vs Cambridge, Charles Darwin, Westminster Cathedral, the Royal Family. Please. Pretty please. Oh it'd be so good. Go on. Oh never mind then x

Oh yes yes yes PLEASEEE.
It's one of my favorite periods, if only just for the fashion alone which is fabulous. Men in nice suits and tophats, and women in corsets and lovely hats~

You should say United Kingdom or at least England, one single city is for spin-offs and direct sequels.

They should NEVER EVER leave AC alone! AC3 is my fave after playing them all. I would totally LOVE London. And I lived there for 10 years. Hope to go back now.
And let's not forget that it all started there if I'm not mistaken (the Knight Templars I mean).

No they should leave Assassin's Creed alone now, they've already screwed the franchise over with AC3 .

Begone!

If they release another peice of **** game then yes they should leave the AC franchise alone. The last thing i want to see is my favourite games franchise go down the toilet.
Hey, Crap, I found a toilet for you!

I first heard this suggestion on some video with Andrea from ClevverGames interviewing someone from Ubisoft... Anyway, I love this idea. I watched Lawless the other night and I thought.. "Assassin's Creed should do a Mafia one." Just would love to see it.

Back on topic, if it wasn't Victorian London, Tudor Period England could also be great, or a story arc that first takes place in Confederate Ireland and moves towards England during its civil war.
Victorian Era England does sound the best, though, that'd be great. But the other two sound possible as well.

I think the narrative settings of the games so far have been progressing forward through time. I think a step backwards would be just that, a step backwards. The technology has been improving with every game as well. Going back wouldn't make much sense. Though I do like your idea, Ireland would be beautiful,

Here's what I feel, though, there's a point where they can't go further. So moving back in time but polishing the mechanics sounds like a great idea in my opinion. Find different tools and mechanics to adapt to the era. Mid-late 1800 still sounds like something they could work around, but the moment they get to the late 1800-early 1900, things won't work. There's so much they could do going back in time, I feel.

Sorry, suggestions like Victorian England, Japan, WWII, and other settings that have absolutely nothing to do with the real Assassins order, is just wrong. It's historically wrong. They've already taken the series too far ahead in time for it to be believable anymore.

Read the AC timeline bro in the AC universe Hitler shot a body double in the Bunker and left then was Assassinated by, wait for it... an Assassin imagine that.
