Since we can't have moveable objects in a DF server, can the Coop game be modified to allow:

1. players to respawn multiple times (spawn # set by game host)

2. Additional players to join after the game is launched.

I seem to recall Oleg responding to a request for the ability to respawn, or at the very least, rearm/refuel in a coop, saying it would be impossible with the present game engine in use.

Thud, are you the former Thunderbird that flew with The Volunteers?

I doubt anyone takes me too seriously but it seems to me that if they ever combined some of the functionality between the two (Coop & DF) IL-2 FB & PF would be one kick-butt game.

Part of the fun I find in co-op is that there is no respawn. I guess the option would be nice though.

AI in DF's would be very welcome.

What would be nice for coops would be a "quick reload" of the last played mission that would reload the mission rather than having to go through the breifings, etc. Not exactly perfect but it would be nice to have.
