Ok - I took the plunge and bought a headset yesterday. I also downloaded the client program from the TS website. I assume I'm almost ready to go.

The big question is, how do the servers operate? What I mean is, where do I go to get on comms. Take Hyperllobby. There is usually 20 or so df servers up. How do I know which currently have players using TS? Where do I find their servers? Do you have to be part of a squadron to use it in the df servers or can anyone join in if you know where to connect to?

I assume, once you know where the server is you connect to it from the main TS menu and then your patched in.

Sorry if this is really basic stuff, but, I'm a little perplexed at what to do next.

Simple... ask in-game.
Or fly WarClouds - TS server address can be found at www.war-clouds.net (http://www.war-clouds.net)

I think only WarClouds has a TS server. Squads have their own comms server as well but you will more than likely have to be a member. There are public servers, but the chances of finding one used for a particualr server are slim. Best bet is to get together with friends and have one of them host a TS channel, or you can join up with a squad and use thiers.

"Soldiers, Sailors, and Airmen of the Allied Expeditionary force:
You are about to embark upon a Great Crusade toward which we have strived these many months. The eyes of the world are upon you. Good Luck! And let us all beseech the blessing of Almighty God upon this great and noble undertaking" - Gen. Dwight D. Eiseinhower-Supreme Allied Commander.

Warclouds is the only server I know of that has an open public server for TS. In the join screen for TS use this IP for the WC TS channel: 69.56.235.122:23000. The PW is : warcloudsrox
