View Full Version : Petition For More Rope Dart and Snare Combat Animations

As most of you know, you can counter with the triangle button (ps3) with any secondary weapon besides bait and horse whistle and get a free kill.

I think that the non ranged secondary weapons should have expanded combat.

For example, if you equip the sword along with the rope dart, there should be a chance that connor uses it in the killing animation without having to use triangle but by using a normal counter. Don't change the combat concepts, just tweak the animations a little bit so you can start combining moves like the hidden blade and snare.

Might be far fetched but a cool idea

Oh you know how to program eh? Funny, so tell me a bit in how to change an NPCs movement path parameters and specify how a outside reaction from player will force change on said parameters in various interactions

1st - the rope dart IS a ranged weapon ( so bad example ) 2nd it's unneccessary coding for little change to the outcome - why bother ?

They could improve the rope dart though - it seems 50/50 wether it actually lets you hang people from treetops at the moment - Connor often just changes his direction instead = annoying.
only seemed to work properly on the Homestead mission for me.

I'd vote yes, but only if they were a seperate DLC so I do NOT have to pay for them.
