Sorry but that wouldn't be correct.

J8A is the correct Swedish designation for the flyable model (J stands for Jaktplan, i.e. fighter). It is not just a variant sufix like "Mk1" or "Mk2". It's a full name.

I see no harm in people learning to find it under the proper name http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

But I guess you could maybe call it J8A Gladiator, as in MiG-29 Fulcrum or FA-18 Hornet. But I'd rather ask some Swedish experts before doing it. What we have at the moment is 100% correct.

Okay, J8A Gladiator it is....I was thinking of alphabetical listing grouped together. These should really be grouped together.

I don't like grouping planes in terms of "sides" they fought on, as we expand beyond Eastern Front we find some fought on two or even three or more sides. The alphabet way in Paintschemes folder is less confusing for the FB Newbie. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Trust me, I had no idea P11c was Flyable until a month after I got the FB, and that was only because of the ubi.com. If I was like 90% of FB purchasers who never visit the ubi.com, I would never have known I could sim a Polish designed aircraft over the FB. Many may never know they can fly a Swedish aircraft either. Never. I let this kind of (sloppy) slip-up happen to me , it can happen to anybody. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Actually, a better idea is put a flag or check mark next to Flyable planes.

Much simpler.
