Well, there I am in a new Campaign. Back in the good ol` I16, but lately it feels a little more crap now with AEP... Why?

1.Well I get on the six of a 109-F2- It extends away. My I16 starts to overheat on full blast and it`s not catching up. I have to give up, find another target. He turns comes back on me. Luckily I can outturn him. Guess what? He extends away! Just like annoying LW pilots on the net! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif

2. Woohho! Another target, oh no, he extends, but I am getting closer. He climbs, my I16 starts to complain, can`t climb... bugger... Wallowing like a stranded fish again.

I have to be quick with my shots and catch them before they outpace me, then I might get them to turn or slow them down.

Not a complaint, but a compliment on the improved combat AI! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/11.gif

Unfortunate that it makes my I16 crappy...

You think that's bad, wait till they scissor your sluggish pig of a P-47 or P-38 and force you to overshoot!

Thnx, Zugfuhrer. I`ll remember to remind you.

Just been on another mission in my I16, we were to intercept German transports. Well, we never got there as we were intercepted big time. Most of us were shot down and I ended up running back to base. I managed to bring 2 109E4Bs and the flak opened up. `Good`, I thought, `Two Jerry planes down`. But to my surprise the Jerry planes made one turn and flew off as I circled the base. It looked they decided to avoid the danger- Do they recognise Flak danger, i wonder?

Another nice thing to see in debrief was: "German Ace Molders crashed in enemy territory, but escaped alive." Nice one, Starshoy.
