So i have been thinking about getting assassin's creed 3 for PC via steam, but I have a quick question and find the need for a second opinion.

Will i be able to run ACIII on high settings without frame drops? or would I be better off getting it for PS3?

my specs are.

Dell: XPS 14z

med-high settings you should be fine. dont expect 60 fps though. laptops arent the best for gaming. even if it is called a "gaming laptop"

This. My friend got ripped off this "gaming laptop" which couldn't even play minecraft at 20 fps+
