Firstly let me start by saying i really like the map exploration mechanics and how that works, I am enjoying exploring the frontier but so far the biggest thing to me is how could Ubisoft make such a big oversight in map colours.

The dark blue background makes it near impossible to tell which areas you've explored in the Frontier especially and frankly i'm losing the will to explore there as i'm spending more time opening and closing the map than exploring which totally kills the immersion. Why am i opening and closing the map? Because whilst the map has just opened momentarily the colours are much better and you can clearly see which areas need exploring.

Here is a photo to show what i mean clearer, Note for some reason my phone wouldn't focus as well for the second photo but the point is clear still.

Is there anything i can do to make it easier exploring or anything in the pipelines to make it easier as this is totally killing the immersion for me.

My strategy was to run the edges of the map,, then the edges of the water ways. Then fill in the blanks. Personally I hated the lack of viewpoints as well as the colors. Here's a thread (http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php/724745-A-LOT-of-running) I made with a picture of the (pretty much) fully explored map. You can see that it's easier to tell which spots are unexplored in a smartphone picture of the TV rather than on the TV itself.
