I don't understand any of this actually.
Can someone please explain the different abilities? I haven't been to New York yet so I've only got the first three, but I'd like to know what the others do as well so I don't have to ask again in the future.

If I activate one of the abilities, how do I make sure it won't be used on one guard only? I.E. I just locked onto a guard, used the marksmen and only that specific guard went down. Then all of my recruits went up to the roof and killed the remaining two by sword. Is there a way to make sure ALL guards get shot?
Is there any other way to see what level my recruits are, other than going to the mission map and selecting a mission first?
What's the highest level possible for the recruits?
Is it possible the trigger one recruit only? If I press 'LB', all three get into action, even if there's only two guards. One would be enough. I.E. in previous games you had three bars. Pressing 'LB' once would trigger only one or two recruits (depending on the amount of guards), and holding 'LB' triggered the arrow storm. Is something similar possible?

Thanks in advance

You have to all the liberation missions before you can get ore okay. Manly stick to Boston then you will get some more okay :)

Are they called 'Liberation' missions on the maps? So far in Seq. 6 I see all Homestead missions, no liberation missions. Maybe I'm not far enough along to recruit yet while I build my crafters groups.

I've got al of Boston's recruits, but I don't necessarily need more, that was not my question.

In ACR, I was able to finish the game & input my Feedback within days.... I STILL haven't finished this game & I have tons I haven't even gotten to.
So many things & the best part is that in past AC's, Recruiting/assassin leveling has always been my favorite part of the game - so I have even more to look forward to.
I'm blown away. :)

I've been playing everyday the entire day since tuesday. Have played for 45 hours now and I'm 39%, second mission on sequence 7. There indeed is so much to do and I'm not rushing it at all.
I never really liked the recruiting, as in getting new members. I like leveling them up though, but the recruiting is also better this time around. I actually don't even want to progress, because I don't want the game to end.
I think the naval missions are awesome too. Also don't want to progress on those as I don't know how many more there is left .. I'm only doing the DLC's mission 'Sinking a Secret' over and over again, as it was my first mission where I could attack a large vessel.

:D I completely know what you're saying ~ feel the same. I'm in no rush even tho I'd love to give feedback/review to Devs -
I can guarantee it's going to be nothing but praise and accolades from me. Of course sprinkled with a TINY bit of constructive suggestion for some little stuff.
I'm nervous to jump into the Naval stuff - it's not a real love of mine but I did like the training I did on the ship.

I preferred the simpler systems of prior games but AC3 really amped up the usefulness and versatility of the Assassins now IMO....starting riots, Covert escorts...all good stuff IMO

I think it's ****ing awesome! Make sure you'll have lots of money (around 50000 to start with) to upgrade the ship. I've only done three missions and have already upgraded the ship for 75%. Turn up your volume, the blast you hear when cannons are fired is fantastic.

- Spoiler -
You can get different types of ammunition, which you'll want. Some are really bad*ss!

You are able to get more when you have done the liberation missions in Boston And New York. I hope this has help :)

You've said that before, but I don't need more, that was not my question. I'd like to know what the various abilities are meant for. I don't understand.
Please re-read the OP, I had several question. Maybe you can help me out on those.
