View Full Version : pc version of the game supports xbox controller?

im waiting for the date pc verision of the game will be released.
but after i played previous ac titles i knew i probably wouldnt buy if it does not support console type controller
it is just unplayable with keyboard, mouse , or combined both.
any confirmed infos about this?

yes, all of the assassins creed games support the xbox 360 controller

but on ac2 to move forward i had to tilt left stick to left and to move backward i had to move it to right
that was awful. with control like that i cant enjoy the game.
and layout of buttosn wasnt identical to xbox version.
i hope they make it same as console ones

you can customise the controls in the menu, ac1 and ac2 had some weird defaults but since brotherhood the controls are default console type

For AC1 and 2, there is a program (i don't remember the name but i can search for it again if needed) which creates some custon config files for your controller, which you can place in the game folder and they make your controller work as it should. You won't need to do this for AC3, as iNvidious said, since Brotherhood, they fully supported xbox controllers
