I finally have my twin holsters but i can't choose the my second gun, but when i got at a shop or at the manor and change it well it works until a loading screen then puts back another one instead. I just want to dual wieid royal pistols to be able to shoot 4 shots.
Does someone know how to fix this?

You need to go at any general store or your manor and use the book thats there.

this is the recipie

Twin Holsters:

Artisan: Tailor (Lvl.2)
Ingredient 1: Wolf Pelt
Ingredient 2: Rosewood Lumber

I finished the entire story and didn't craft anything. Thanks for the tip.

How do you level up your artisan?

It is a glitch within the game itself. I have Dual Holsters, they work after I completed Sequence 12 and finished all the Homestead missons. They work fine now with the Generals pistols. But I had dual holsters almost the entire time. It's just another glitch. Hopefully a patch soon to fix it.

Read the other forum topic on Homestead Lumber to learn about Artisans.

its normal if you bought the uplay thing that gives you extra ammo and all.

I also had them for the whole game until i started the homestead missions.

you can level up your artisan by simply doing your homestead mission. his turn will come to level up you just need to to the other homestead missions first.

Spoilers but solution:

You get the dual pistol holster from crafting. In order to craft things like all the special items and upgrades you have to do homestead missions. Sometimes it's hard to figure where the next mission is because there may be a mission randomly in Boston, the Frontier, New York. For the dual pistols, you need rosewood?, a wolf pelt, and ellen the tailor at level 2. Unfortunately, even if you've done all the homestead missions available, you can't get to Ellen or Big Dave until you can free roam in New York. This isn't until Sequence 9. Ellen's mission will show up after you've done all the other homestead missions up to that point. After you do the second mission for her by retrieving the silk, you can craft the dual holsters. By this point, your lumberjacks will be upgraded enough to produce the right lumber.

And there ya go

I also am having a bug where loading screens do weird things to my second pistol.

Same problem here, gets really anoying, every time i load up my game, or fast travel anywhere, it keeps changing the second gun :/

Yeah, it keeps switching to the scottish flintlock for me. Pretty annoying. Just curious what pistol does it switch to for you???

Edit: actually, the gun it switches to in the left holster is the more powerful gun that you equip before the set decide to equip. So now I have the regular flintlock left and the more powerful english flintlock in the right holster. kinda screwy

Happening to me as well. Just crafted the second holster and equipped the royal flintlocks, but as soon as I fast-travelled, the pistol in the right holster changed to the Pitcairn-Putnam flintlock.

I think the purpose of the twin holster is not for dual wielding but only to get 2 shots in without reloading
