Here's a pic of my AC controller. I was thinking of adding a little blue somewhere for ACIII, but I like the minimal white and red.

Thanks.
I didn't do too much. Just switched out some parts, but I did solder some red lights in place of the green ones.

I didn't mean to double post this either. Sorry

I merged your two threads :).

It's nice, but I personally would have put the Assassin insignia on the left side and made the face buttons red.

Thanks for merging the threads.

Also I thought about putting the insignia on the left, but I kind of hold it in my left hand primarily, and move my hand around there more. It's a sticker on there so it can come off with a lot of rubbing and what not. I also thought the white out buttons were pretty cool. They came in a set that way too so I saved a bit of money.

I really wanted to try to make the xbox button with an assassin's symbol on it, and a red light coming through it, but it got a bit too difficult.

Any ideas out there for making an ACIII one specifically or any other ideas. I kind of want to make another.

Maybe I'll do an Abstergo one. White and blue? Black and blue? I've really got to figure out modding the center button. There's so many cool possibilities with it. I've got some plastic beads that I may carve a symbol out of and then attach to the button, but it is hard not to make it look sloppy.

Well still, it is creative nonetheless and I think it's pretty cool, especially since AC3 is a day or so away (depending on how you look at it).

I just think there's too much white, so red buttons would balance that out... but then there would be to much red on the right side, so putting the insignia on the left would balance the colors out perfectly in my opinion. But I understand the whole 'rubbing' thing and whatnot.

I myself have a Gears of War 3 Xbox and two matching controllers, so I'm sure as hell not messing with my already-bad-*** controllers.

I personally, could not do without my coloured buttons. There's just something about them that I like. the rest of the controller I'd tweak, but I'm personally not a fan of one specific colour for all buttons. xP

It'd probably bother me as well but I've only had controllers with standard buttons, never alternatives.

Yep, most I'd change is the faceplate colours, and maybe the bottom, where it is normally grey.

Oh.. and probably the LED's

I like everything original, I don't like messing around and experimenting.

I like my ice cream vanilla.

I want a controller where... The guide button is the Assassin's symbol (and a Templar one for those who like the Templars.) With the 4 quads around it and a light that shines through it, being red inside, blue outside.

Well done on a great piece of work. You know Microsoft should employ you to design controllers for them.

Thanks for such a nice response everyone. I appreciate it, and I think I've got the motivation to do another one now.
