I don't know if it has been discussed here but I was thinking... Since the game's story ends in december, would ubisoft be holding a dlc with Desmond's ending until then? Of course that dlc would have to be free (I hope so, at least). Anyways, what do you guys think?

you know... in order to make the player play the ending at the same time as it happens.

We're pretty much there now.. game comes out october 31st, the modern day story is actually around then, well that's what i'm thinking why they picked october rather then the usual mid nov release

yeah but we can finish it in about 2-3 weeks tops. it would be interesting - although terribly frustrating - if we played the ending in december's 21

Terrible idea and I doubt Ubi would do it, I can imagine quite the backlash from people over it. If you want to play game in December, don't play it until December. If that increases the immersion or connection or whatever between you [or whoever] and the games story, great. No reason for force the same situation on the countless thousands of others who just want to play the full game when they buy it.

i'm not suggesting that, i'm just wondering that they might do that. I intend to play the whole thing at once.

I know there is a recurring argument with gamers that DLC is content purposely left out of the game to make money.... but I very much doubt they would not include in Desmonds ending on disc, even to later give it to us through DLC, that really would be giving us half a game.

I seriously doubt they'd use King Washington's alternate "what if?" story to hold back Desmonds fate.

Because you know, that's the only single player DLC there will be, it's just going to come in episodes.

You know some people dont have psn or xbox live therefore they would never get the ending
