Mine is definitely when Connor is going to William Johnson's house and he jumps down from tree to tree then swims across the lake and climbs up the mountain. Also the cutscenes are really good especially the voice acting. Finally in one of the Naval Videos there was a big wave about to hit the boat and I got that feeling when your stomach drops as it really puts in you the action.

Alright so Apparently its easier to complain and point out flaws and act like we`re all Professional Game Designers that berate the Incompetent Lazies at Ubisoft.

We go on and make a "Things you did NOT like in the Previews" Thread With a BIG emphasis on the "Not" meaning absolutely negative. It just sends a message "Nothing positive here, just point out all the tiniest bits that you do not like and act like they`re a big deal" Lovely complaining with very Unsettling posts. I saw someone complain about recycled sound.

So, enough about my useless rant, what Did you like about the Previews ? I want the smallest Details..

I just want to make this clear.. There will be no complaining here. Not about easy Combat, Recycled sound/Animations or whatever.. NOTHING... If you will.. Then

I spent too much time in the other thread for my own good... this is positive :)

Goddamit...Merge this, then or whatever..

But its strange right ? The "Negative thread" has about 5 pages and your "Positive thread" does not even have one post in it..

You have a point though. Anyway Here are the new things I'm loving-
-Homestead, Every thing about it I love.
-Voice Acting, I think you will known when Connor is pissed.
-Recruits, They seem even more personal now.
-Side Missions, I like how each district has their own theme, it will make doing them more fun.
-Combat Moves, I've already seen the combat so I knew what that was like but that double pistol kill was amazing.
-Characters, They seem to be better thought out in the way their presented.
- Free Running, Is a lost faster the previous games.
- Rock Climbing- Looks to be really enjoyable and just sitting on top of a mountain watching it rain over the frontier would just be extraordinary.

Just a good memory when it comes to interacting with people both socially and professionally. Every person here has a typical trend on how they react to other statements so remembering things about certain people allows you to socially interact with them better and knowing how and when to pick your battles as well as how to appeal to them.

And I really think people are complaining about different aspects because it gives them something to talk about and critique to pass the time. Generally, despite the large amounts of negativity, they will shut up as soon as the game is in their possession because, lets face it, they wouldn't bother participating in the forums if they weren't fanboys or fangirls.

Homestead - what a great way of building up a community. I really love the idea of the economy system and the convoys.
Achilles - Looks to be a really cool character
The combat - revamped faster and some really brutal moves. I like the counters.
Counter kills - double take downs with a pistol
Small details, like Connor reloading his pistol after a fight. Branches moving when Connor jumps on them
Connors parkour and free running animations are excellent.
Cut-scenes graphics looks excellent
The insight into how Connor feels so much for his people and his village.
Chapeau looks like such a kick-*** character.
I love the tree navigation and how when rock climbing how the path isn't exactly clear...the rock faces look brilliant.
The voice work is great, especially with the native language. I could listening to it all day.
The weather dynamics for the Naval missions is simply astounding....
Night time hunting... I mean come on people!!!
Hood down
Petting domestic animals

Should I keep going? Coz I could run for ages with this!!

I can't wait for Connor to come home..........

Screw the negative threads...some people!!! Why isn't there more pages on this thread? Aren't we supposed to be fans, I don't understand?

Tons of stuff :)!

- The way Connor moves and looks. His running is the best I've ever seen in a game, so is cliff climbing, tree parkour etc. And I think they really nailed his look, which seemed like mission impossible given that a white robe would stand out in the setting.
- Brutal kill animations, and the nasty sounds in combat :).
- Combat looks the best in franchise so far. I'm still a bit sceptical, but we have only seen a small fraction of it (I hope lol).
- Naval combat. Seems like the best mini (well)-game in franchise history. Looks fantastic and I like the freedom it seems to give the player. Unexpected and bold.

- Rope dart is a cool addition that will mix things up.
- Frontier looks fantastic and it's amazing how much platforming oppurtunities there are while still looking so organic.
- Weather effects are cool, don't think I have ever seen deep snow having that gameplay effect in a game before. Very cool!
- The design of the tomahawk is clever.
- The new blending were you are escorted by four redckats. Brilliant evolution of a system that made little sense before.
- the new slide move. Will make horizontal parkour more interesting.

- Hope real underwater swimming is available (like in the vita version). Been something I have wanted as a way to sneak up on villiains and also discower hidden temples :)!

I like you M...

And I like the Homestead feature. It reminds of the Villa in AC2 but now instead of repairing a place, you're building it, which I think is really cool. I also enjoy the new animations, Connor's brutality, the combat, and most of all, the setting.;)

Amen. It looks awesome. I hope it keeps interesting throughout the entire game. I was always a little sad that after a certain point there wasn't really anything to do in Monterrigioni anymore.

I love pretty much all of it, I don't get all the negativity (only thing is that the draw distance seems to be rather short, but that's a minor complaint).
And I know this was not in the preview videos but in an article I read that they bought an outfit ("Charlestown" with a red trim) for Connor, so is that outfits at tailors = new armors confirmed?

Oh and I almost forgot: I love how at the preview where the person you're helping charges out of the house and tackles another person/guard causing them both to topple of the little elevation they're on, through the railing which breaks and falls with them and that right after when the gameplay starts the railing is still fine. :P

I'm absolutely amazed by the Homestead. I literally hated renovating cities in Rome and Constantinople (the second one didn't even make any sense to me) but I enjoyed the villa. Now this is like the villa - but better. Side missions depending on how you progressed in the Homestead-"storyline"? Yes, please! Crafting different things in order to sell them or make your ship better or what not? Hell yes! Not rebuilding anything but instead populating a beautiful estate in the middle of the wilderness? Oh god, yes! Having inhabitans who are more than generic NPCs but instead people with a personality (and among them some Scots)? YesyesYES!

Yeah, the homestead absolutely amazed me. Also, I really love the frontier by now, seeing that it is more than just a ****load of trees. The huge rocks, the rivers, the lakes - amazing! And I'm pretty impressed how natural everything looks and yet there are specific free-running ways (the scene where Connor traverses the river at the Homestead, it looks so real). I'll probably spend more time in the frontier than in the cities (before these videos, I was always more interested in the cities than in the frontier).
Also, I actualyl think that the whole "Connor did not kill domestic animals"-thing and the punishment for random slaughtering is a nice touch too.

Then the sidecharacters.. They are so much more interesting that most of the ones in the previous games. They seem to have different sides to their personality and not just one stereotype. For example, the patriot that wanted Connor to help him with the Boston Tea Party, something about him, I disliked him and liked him at the same time and can't even say why exactly. And the French guy (the new 'recruit'), I love his character already.

Then the music. I mean, I only noticed one soundtrack (in Esco's naval battle video), but that one was amazing and much better than I expected.

So yeah, I'm amazed and hyped. Quicktime-events instead of proper animal fights or one bad texture on a rock won't change anything about it. And as a PC gamer I really have to go dark before the console games release.

It also helps out in the bars with taking a girl home for the night but I'm sure you'll learn much about that if you already don't grasshopper.
I prefer alcohol for that

Watching this after Revelations......WOW HOW AWESOME!!!!!!

You can really tell the difference between a rushed game and one that has been in the making for almost three yrears!!!!!! I have alway thought what really defines a sandbox is how much fun, variety and things to do you can besides the main quest. ACIII seems to fulfill that, there seems to be a lot to do!!! So here I go:

NPC´s seem more realistic than ever before!!!!
Weather and seasons
Naval Combat
THE FRONTIER!!! And the fact that you have to learn how to "navigate" in it

I'm really loving how much faster Connor is in the free-running aspects. When he climbs that building to synchronize, I was just like "hell yeah", it's significantly faster for sure. Even with that stupid hookblade, Connor'd beat Ezio up a building!

Agreed with the OP, that scene through the water & scaling the mountain was my favourite video I've seen yet, I've watched it quite a few times now. Man I can't wait to get my parkour on in the Frontier & do some hunting!

EDIT: Also, liking the Connor character a lot. Ezio was cool but he was a little too James Bond-slick for what I picture a deadly Assassin to act like. Connor kind of reminds me of the AC1 Altair, which is perfect.

The Homestead looks incredible. And I love the fact that the people you recruit are actually characters this time. I liked having the recruits populate the building in Brotherhood, but they were essentially just brainless goons when you think about it. And this time, each person who comes to the Homestead are scripted characters with their own missions and dialogues? Sounds great.

I love that you can assassinate from sprinting with a tomahawk. The animation for that is so awesome. Actually, the animations in general are awesome. The way Connor climbs mountains is so organic compared to previous AC installments.

Also, the sound. The sound of combat - the crunches, the slices, the blows - are surprisingly cool and satisfying.
