Why Desmond in ACR does not have a scar on your lip?

Ubisoft, how could you forget a detail so important?

To be honest I don't find the scar important anymore.

Why not? It was one of the elements connected to Desmond Altair and Ezio.

I dunno if it's just me but the whole lip scar thing didn't really make a difference to me. They all looked the same at that time and the scar wasn't hereditary so what the actual purpose ? I only remember them showing how Ezio got his scar.

It 'a matter of bond and detail. If in the old games had a scar, why here no?

FOR ME, is a gross error. :p

Could make it more visible. Just today I discussed it with my friend, and we said that it was strange that Ubisoft had missed a very important detail.

I very much agree with you..

As to avoid any confusion like this, I hope they make it clearer in AC III..

I too have some trouble seeing the scar without really looking. Now that we're on the subject, I really want to see a render of Desmond in AC3.

He does...

Not particularly in that area, though

Lol I was joking, I was implying that Desmond in ACR looked like Nico Bellec (maybe you already knew that, I couldn't really tell :P)

Yeah that doesnt really bother me to much, but one thing that does bother me is...
In the Altair memory, in Revelations when you have to save all the citizens on
your way to the castle to save Al Mualim Altair has dual hidden blades, the year
for this mission is 1189 but AC 1 was set in 1191 and Altair only has one.
Has anybody noticed this?

I actually didn't? That's really strange..

There was a lot of things Altair had during Revelations that he didn't in AC1, the blades of course, but also the ability to counter kill multiple enemies. I think the devs kinda figured maybe some of us either wouldn't remember or pick-up on these subtlies, but many of us did.

Never happened to me EXCEPT when I replayed the memory. Its a glitch that renders the 60 years altair, rather than the young model

This just reminded me of how I wish Revelations had never been made. The plot inconsistencies in that game really wrecked it for me.

Wow Wow.. He had one hidden blade, man..

The glitch happens when you repeat the memory only, but it is correct and is consistent with the history

I said "inconsistencies." The fact that the word ends with "ies" and not "y" would indicate that I am talking about more than just one thing.

I fail to see how Revelations created any plot inconsistency. Ezio's life was simply expanded on and Desmond was able to separate his mind from his ancestors, a plot point that probably would have never been solved. A lot of what we saw with Altair was already mentioned in The Secret Crusade.

That's what I said before - people just LOVE saying that ACR has a lot of inconsistencies but I haven't yet met a person who would point them out. And even if someone would I can eaisly proove them wrong. Dual blades stuff is wrong, the apple retcon is not a retcon at all. It actually fixed that small retcon from ACB that just wasn't elaborated on in much detail. No one in AC games has ever stated that the Apple was the same one nor has anyone said that Altair and Ezio were related. Patrice Desilets may have been babbling about that in AC2 interviews but if he really wished for it to be true he should have put some kind of tangible proof IN the game. Without it the writers were free to do whatever they wanted.

Changes made in the editor will be lost. Are you sure that you want to leave this page?

Edit: ^ thats weird.. Anyway they wouldn't take counters out, that is gameplay not really ability, they just didn't develop the free flow attacking system til AC:B. Also the only thing that I didn't understand is why altair never had a short blade but had the sheath.

Scars fade. That's why Ezio's is only visible because of his beard.

And honestly, I've never really cared all that much about the scar.

that's lame

hope they retcon it. It would of been cooler if Desmond fought back a little bit with Daniel, and Daniel has to slice at him or something.
