Nice one! Never noticed the "saving" until you pointed it out, though is it really saving? It seems to be one of those modern notifications to tell you the game is autosaving but wouldn't the moment at which it saves be a little weird then (randomly on a rooftop, while you are engaging guards). Also you seemed to miss pointing out Connor can sort of do a very fast version of the climb leap/that it's integrated into normal climbing now while he climbs the spire (but you did point out that he seemed to be faster and more agile near the beginning, so maybe it's unnecesary to point that out too).

Nevertheless nice one for the people who haven't seen and/or analysed it themselves yet!

Thanks ! :) There are so many things to say about the gameplay we saw ! Maybe I'll do some analysis about the old gameplay :)

Go for it! I liked this one (even though I noticed most of it myself), it was very clear with the arrows and the text without disrupting the video itself. It's always fun to see someone else analyse something because they point out things you didn't notice. But keep in mind that the older gameplay video's we've seen have already been analysed a lot, maybe you could take the small clips of the Inside Assassin's Creed series and try to find things in there most of us won't have noticed?

I notice we seem to be going back to the AC1-style notoriety as well as health systems.

Yeah maybe, hope the health system will make the game more difficult

Oh it will - remember fighting to survive with one bar of health left in AC1?

Yes but in AC1 fighting system was more difficult, in AC3 it seems to be more chain execution

Only if the enemies are all of one type though. They seem to be saying you have to choose your attack according to what's attacking you - much like with the red helmeted knights in AC1, you had to steer clear of being grabbed.

It's "navigation".

Secondly, I've told you twice that the aiming isn't just automatic. You don't seem to be listening, so I've found the video where it is mentioned.

It has also been said that when hunting you can aim where you hit your prey.

“What you’ll see – particularly with the combat – it’s a lot faster, more fluid, more dynamic. It also requires more strategy. You won’t be able to combo kill your way through all of them (the enemies). They’ll have different resistances that will require you to take a different approach to defeating them.”

Yes, and I hope pursuit will be longer, that was epic in AC1

That's pretty much what I meant.

Thanks for posting. I never noticed the whistle. I'm glad they put that in. Sometimes I wish I could do that when I'm hanging on a roof under a guard so he'll come check it out and I can pull him down. Maybe they'll do that this time.

This reminds me of when Ubisoft did an analysis of their trailer and called it a "walkthrough."

Nice one though!

whistle is maybe for the horse, but guards react to this :)

I hope he can still whistle for the horse but I noticed the whistle icon doesn't pop up until he jumps into the hay. That gives me hope :D

This would be very nice, I really like these kind of new stuff which were missing in previous game
