International Conflict - FW190.

Pretty good so far, mentions other FW planes and other radial engined planes. I hadn't seen the Hugh's racer before.

In mentioning the FW200 they say its only shortcoming was a weak undercarriage, yet another documentery says it had a weak back, and could break its back even when landing unloaded.

They speak of the D series as though it were a high altitude plane, which it really wasn't in its basic form (though it vould go higher than A series and I guess there were some modified with Nitrous as with 109s).

First guncam footage I have seen showing I16 and I153 being shot at.

The FW200 was a compromise plane. It had long range, so it was used for naval duty. The Germans were forced to use it because they failed to develop something better with similar range. It was designed for civilian duty, and was therefore destroyed easilty when the Allies began to put defensive armament on their transport ship. It was effective for a while, before its shortcomings became blatantly apparent.

Oh well, the inaccuracies usually just make me mad anyway.

The replica of the Racer crashed last year.

It is understandable that the Fw200 had problems with a civilian version having a TO weight of ~17,000kg while for the military version it was 22,700 to ~25200kg. An increase of 12600lb to 18,000lb.

Long live the Horse Clans.
