Hi,

Can you reveal the system requirements of PC version (minimum and/or recommended)? A few upcoming games, for example Call of Duty: Black Ops II, Hitman 5, Dishonored and FIFA 13, won't be compatible with Windows XP. Your game also? I want to pre-order Assassin's Creed III, but I don't know, whether my PC will be able to display a smooth animation.

Best regards,
mtsach

Well if they decide to go without XP support i am ok with it. Win7 is much better OS and it have better support for multi-core processors than XP. Win XP is really old OS that served us good but it is time for retirement :D

I think Windows 8 is just meant for tablet PCs.

Oh and keep your eyes open guys, I imagine this'll get moved shortly.

Its some kind of fanmade. Though this one would be OK for me, I just need a proper mouse support.

About the fact that Windows 8 is for desktops - I'm guessing

The game will support mouse and keyboards - to the same level as the others in the series.

Any requirements posted, which are not officially released, should be treated as rumour.

Well, rumor or not, I "think" i'll be ok, the Radeon HD 3800 series is DX 10.1 ready out-of-box (I have 3850), but it seems i got DX11 when i upgraded to win7, so i might get lucky, and not have to upgrade.

Radeon hd3850 supports "only" dx10.1 and can not use dx11 features. If windows 7 has dx11 it doesn't mean gpu will use it, this one defenitely will not .

Yeah, i did some digging on google last night, and i read up on the issue on the windows 7 forums, so if i ever want to use DX11, i'll have to get at least a 6000 series Radeon GPU, but as long as the game will support at least DX9 (and it should, since PS3 and 360 are DX9), then i should be ok with DX10 :)

You are wrong again... radeons support dx11 since hd5xxx serie.

I'm just thinking, why don't companies drop directX and start using openGL... then the games would be fully availiable for linux, wouldn't them? o.o
Most hardcore pc users prefer linux over window/iOS (NOT including my self) and openGL actually works faster then directX (valve got an increansing from 270 to 300 fps when porting l4d:2 to openGL @windows 7 64bits)

Same question for me :D

I'm really interested to pre-order the deluxe box but I've an 'older' PC. I wouldn't take a game that at the final I can't play, so... I still waiting from months about the requirements (to check if I can run it).

Well because PC version is delayed until November my guess that final code of PC version is not finished yet. So my guess is that PC system requirements will be published in second half of October.
