S~ all. Those of you who fly on the server may have noticed a few odd things such as unusual lag issues and missions that were not rotating and keeping proper statistical information. You may have also known that Birds Of Prey is running just pure dogfight scenerios at for the past three-four days. The reason for this is that we were caught off guard by a complete failure of the server that we use on HL. This failure was caused by a certain popular program used for managing many servers. Fortunatly for Birds Of Prey, we were already testing and implementing the new interface. Birds of Prey will no longer use the program that crashed our server and is currently tweaking its replacement and linking all of our servers to our website.. The tests are being conducted on one of our other servers at the moment. In the future, joining one of our servers will be as simple as clicking on the link at our website. There will also be a stats page that will automatically update itself and you will be able to see who is currently on any of our servers. Just log on any time of the day and you will be able to see what is going on on any of the Birds Of Prey servers
Now, going back to the Birds Of Prey server on HL...As mentioned before due to the issues with a certain program ,the server is basically a pure dogfight server now. However we are controling the server via Comm files and still maintian allot control of functions that we had before. There are no mission objectives other than to shoot down as many aircraft as you can . We will however include some ground targets and add a couple of ground attack aircraft for you ground pounding junkies out there. All you would have to do is search for them and destroy them.
Curently, there is a (spitfire 9, p-51d, p-38L)vs ( 109 G6/as, 190 A6, Dora) mission running on the server. We are also going to add the P-47 D and 109 G-10 will be added .
We aslso have a early war mission on the server which features the 109 E4, 109 E-7, and the 109 F, vs the Hurricane 2b, spitfire 5b and P-40E.
Birds of Prey will also be testing the stats and new interface this weekend and we are seeking volunteers to help us test this weakend. For those of you intrested in helping us out we will be releasing more information about this matter before friday. Thanks again to all of you and Salute.

Nice to hear. Could you post a link to your website please? And if I may ask, what is the new program interface you are going to run?

Maybe you could lighten up on the checktime settings so 56kers could play on it? I have a good 56k connection and I last about thirty seconds before it kicks me. S!
