Copperhead... im diehard american but i remember my history pretty well. we lost almost every individual battle we fought with the british.

we won the war because we wouldnt quit though. we just kept coming back and getting beat more and more. finally they couldnt take it anymore and left. it was a war they couldnt win because we wouldnt surrender.

kind of like vietnam almost. we won EVERY SINGLE battle we fought against the vietnamese. decisively. but they just wouldnt quit no matter how hard we pounded them. finally due to politics we left vietnam. we didnt lose...we left....

same thing happened kinda sorta with us against the british. they just lost the will to win and didnt want to send more money men and supplies over here to keep fighting forever.

i guess what im saying is we didnt stomp the british. we didnt wipe them out. we just persevered.and dont forget we had plenty of help from FRANCE and their fleet.

and since then those limeys have been our greatest friends. true blood brothers who will never abandon us and neither will we abandon them. no matter the cost. look at IRAQ. politically britain took a beating but it didnt matter the cost. we fight side by side. and always will.

Where did you get a Death Star? I can't find one anywhere. Keep asking at EB and Bestbuy and get the oddest looks.

PS: I live in Ottawa, home of most of Canada's politicians - please feel free to target this city first.

I am confident you guys will not lay your hands on a Death Star, we (the Brits) have cornered the market and are quitely plotting our revenge http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

We fear not a British Deathstar...I'm sure you'll give it to Beckham who will promptly shoot way off target!

I agree with this in general, however some of the battles we did win Saratoga, Princeton, Trenton, Monmouth (for instance) were vital moral boosters. It was Saratoga that brought the French to recognize us and support us. Trenton kept the army together and gained support from the populace. And Kings Mountain that led to the final victory at Yorktown.

Yep, without some hard fighting French guys like Admiral De Grasse, the colonies might not have won indepenence, or might not have won it until much later.

Don't forget we the Spanish also did our bit for US independence. Not much, less than French, and the same as them, only to bother the Brits, but we did. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-happy.gif
