Dunno must have been taking a nap! lol
I came in on him at about 1700m alt and he was already very low...no place for a 262 to be. I rolled & dove in behind him...let loose with the .50's....we dance for a few and i came out on his 6 when he was low....it was all over but the cryin' after that. lol

I bleed all his E off him in the 1st 30 seconds in the turn fight and nailed him as he dove to zoom away. Remind me to thank Oleg for Online tracks./i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

If you go off the first pic it looks like the ME262 was on fire before it ever even got to your aircraft.

why is there afterburner fire coming out of empty space behind the 262 and engine fire pouring out of empty space in front of the 262?

what setup you running? was it laggy? I've never seen that.

It happens when you play back and stop and start tracks and to my knowledge is not related to lag. Its very noticable with the 262 BTW/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Bavaria is one of the oldest European states.
It dates back to about 500 A.D., when the Roman Empire was overcome by the onslaught of Germanic tribes. According to a widespread theory, the Bavarian tribe had descended from the Romans who remained in the country, the original Celtic population and the Germanic invaders.

I eluded a 262 for quite a while in a I-153P but on his first pass he jammed one of my guns. So I never got to shoot at him to well but like I said, I was just seeing how long I could avoid him. 10 - 12 minutes it seemed before he clipped off my right wings. Into the drink! Fun.

After it was refeuled i climbed in.With many manipulations the mechcanics started the turbines.I followed their actions with the greatest of interest. The first one started quite easily.the second caught fire.In no time the whole engine was on fire.Luckily as a fighter pilot i was used to getting quickly out of the cockpit. The fire was quickly put out.The second plane caused no trouble - Adolf Galland (first time in a ME262)

Hmmmm, this dude flies with American markings on a Soviet modified version!!! Very realistic, I must say. One of the reasons I almost never fly online. Oh and there's no way he'd ever get me in a 262, not even in the post patch crippled version. I could be deadass drunk and he'd never get me flying a P-40....lol!! I will say I do like flying P-40s though, but offline.

I think the main point was that the online pilots who think they will be sooo untouchable in a 262 tend to do stupid things.
I thought it was all funny. And at least he wasn't vulching.
Just remember that it's possible to do things and see things that normally wouldn't have happened because of the inexperience of 14 year olds who think they are the next Galland.
Oh, I would change the Luft-Chickens to Euro-Chickens... They think that because Americans like to fly American planes, we are elitist pigs..... Of course, I may be an Amer-Chicken.... an American that is proud to be American...Heheh

but then again there are only a few really good american stand-ups. most i have seen so far are pretty mediocre which always reminds me that american humor pretty much completely survives without the concept of irony.

but nothings gonna replace my mighty Messerschmitt which is, I'm sorry to say, in no way a "newbie" plane. lets see you get in 1 and be up and running in 1 minute. its possible, but "newbies" would be roasted if they tried.
