This game is too good. I can't believe I did not buy it sooner, yeah the learning curve is steep, but that is a sacrifice for realism. I remember 1942 Pacific Air War and this is way better (relatively speaking). I just can't get enough, ACES better come out soon.

Yes, I very much liked PAW. I tended to fly the zero more than US planes ( I just couldn`t used to that bar in the way). But I noticed that it was much harder shooting down US planes than it was playing US trying to shoot down zeros.

For the first time I wondered if it was biased to American planes...

FB`s probably the least biased of all WWII flight sims to date (partly due to input from the forums).

I still have my PAW GOLD with the books too! I remember the way you could watch the enemy fly by, just the exact way Padlock works in IL2. I just don't know how to get any of those old DOS games to work with Windows ME. I always think it may be fun to "try" them again. I also still have US NAVY FIGHTERS GOLD too. Oh well, It is probably best I remember them as they were... http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif
