So, I got this idea from an image found on the Assassin's Creed Wikia page while looking for things about ACIII:

http://images3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20120713072624/assassinscreed/images/thumb/a/ad/AC3_MP_07_ULC_SharpShooter_online.jpg/640px-AC3_MP_07_ULC_SharpShooter_online.jpg1 (http://assassinscreed.wikia.com/wiki/Sharpshooter)

While this is an image of the Sharpshooter (an exclusive multiplayer character from the "Freedom Edition" and the "Join of Die Edition"), what I have to ask involves the main storyline of the Assassin's Creed III game.We all have heard that we will be going against other tribes in this game, but did anyone think that these tribes might be Templars? That meaning that people like chiefs or priests will be presented as targets for Connor to go after.2 (http://t3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcT6mFqaPT8nSCfMvMhsa3YMD8kW7EhMG pg6PE2_4QtxQb3jqr4NBpRcQ2kfgA)

Now why would I think this? It is because the multiplayer gameplay is suppose to be a training simulation for the workers of Abstergo (i.e. Templar fighters in training). In previous games, we have seen that many of the multiplayer characters pop up in the actual storyline of the games.3 (http://assassinscreed.wikia.com/wiki/Assassination_Targets)

I'm willing to go out on a limb and say that this women was the one to burn down Connor's village when he was young (along with colonists). Along with this, I am willing to say that Connor's tribe must have had some other Assassin members. I'm not saying that the entire tribesmen and tribeswomen were Assassins, but that there were members which was the reason the fight with the European colonists escalated to the burning of the village.4 (http://assassinscreed.wikia.com/wiki/Connor_Kenway)

So, who thinks this Tribeswomen will be a target and will be among other Native American Templar targets? I know some of this may sound weird and impossible, but I think I am on to something here.

Cited (can be found within the respective superscript):
1. The Sharpshooter's page along with image.
2. Image of Connor assassinating an obvious tribesman.
3. Assassination Targets' page, specifically the "Renaissance" list.
4. Connor's Assassin's Creed Wikia page.
Other: Posts on the Assassin's Creed Forums that have other speculations.

DISCLAIMER: The reason that this has been posted here and not in the multiplayer forum is because the evidence and speculation presented do not completely pertain to the multiplayer aspect of the game. I do not present my theory as fact, but as a mere speculation as to what I as an individual expect to happen in the Assassin's Creed III game. My evidence is not 100% solid, but I believe it to be enough to be plausible. Some cited works contain spoilers pertaining to other Assassin's Creed video games.

Well my main question was, do we think that this specific tribeswomen will be an Templar target in the storyline, or is just a random Templar.

Might be this or that, because some Templars in past ACs were main, secondary or never actually appeared in the Narrative.

I remember there being a multiplayer character dressed in mostly blue garb. Maybe this is just a Native American variant to her?

There is bound to be native templars due to their relationship with the british...

I don't think that the character will be the one who burnt the village, because side-Templars never usually have involvement in the actual story, but you're right about the Indian Templars, which should be pretty interesting.

I feel like there is more of a reason as to why Connor's village was burned other than it just being Colonists that were angry. Who knows, maybe we'll get a glimpse of the place that Desmond grew up in. Maybe Connor build that place as a safe haven for fellow Assassin's who needed a place to stay and hide, a new village if you will.

The Trickster? They do have a common hair feature. It is possible.

I still can't find the image of Connor fighting the Native American.

Haras and Shahkulu did in ACR. But the "Templar Agent" missions will probably be back, where you have to kill the multiplayer characters... I could definitely see it happening with her. Probably not the Sharpshooter though, since he's an exclusive.

I don't know anymore from relooking at the image that I had cited, but they don't look like Indians like I thought they did. Here it is though:

But there have been reports of Connor fighting with other tribes.

I doubt those are Natives :P. I think they're the quick running enemies because they have that little feather thing on their cap(?).

Yeah, I guess when I was quickly looking at it I went "FEATHERS! They're Native Americans!" Now cue Rebecca Crane telling me, "That's racist!"
