Hey all assassins! Dont u think that Assassin's Creed 3 doesn't have enough free roam areas? Like there are only 4 free roam areas, Frontier, Boston, New York, and Philadelphia, know what I mean?

philadelphia isn't freeroam

adfdjl;

freeroam confirmed so far:

frontier (1.5x ACB)
Boston (.8x ACB)
New York (.8x ACB)
Carribean (no size confirmed)

it's large enough. get over yourself.

Do some research before you criticize something. Read the post above mine.

also, to be frank, you actually don't need that large of a freeroam space to have fun. See Arkham City.

All four areas are all massive though you fool, and Philly isn't free roam. You forgot the Caribbean Sea and eastern seaboard by the way. Jexx already said all of this, but whatever.

I think AC3 needs more spiders in it's caves.

that way it can be more red dead x skyrim

Frostbite Spiders. Then the Arachnaphobs will complain like on the Bethesda forums. XD

there are a lot of those.

I think it's the problem that the frostbite spider fangs look like a giant ball sack.

Why don't just petition ubisoft to throw in all of North America so nobody gets their feelings hurt.

Let's go to canada too, since AC3 is developed in montreal.

Alright but can we leave out Quebec, there's just something about French people that get me unnerved ( no offense to any French people working AC3:)).

Then you must not like AC Liberations, because you play a half-french half-african lady. (I think)

people are so sensitive these days, if you don't make a thread saying how much you love Ubisoft and AC you automatically is complaining, where is he criticizing something?! I don't see him saying how much he hates Ubisoft or how he won't buy the game just because he wanted more cities to explore, also the size of each area means nothing if the majority of missions are only concentrated in a small part of it or every corner of it look the same, I believe this was his fear when he tought in make the question, just because each area is huge doesn't mean is better, I bet many people here prefer Venice or Jerusalem over any other bigger city made until now...

Philadelphia is not in the game. But, we will be able to explore the eastern seaboard and the carribean, both sizes unconfirmed. I would have loved for them to have included Philadelphia as well.

If only our technology today could handle such things...

If only our technology today could handle such things...

It could. Quite easily.

The Frontier would just act as a Hub world that connects each city. (like it is doing anyway)

The technology we have today wouldn't be able to handle a seamless world though.

The only problem is the time it would take to create it.

Boston 50 percent bigger then Rome..... Not enough free roam for you?

Frontier (http://assassinscreed.wikia.com/wiki/Frontier), which is one and a half times larger than Rome (http://assassinscreed.wikia.com/wiki/Rome) in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood (http://assassinscreed.wikia.com/wiki/Assassin%27s_Creed:_Brotherhood), and not as empty as the Kingdom (http://assassinscreed.wikia.com/wiki/Kingdom) in Assassin's Creed (http://assassinscreed.wikia.com/wiki/Assassin%27s_Creed), as one third of the quests and gameplay content are in the Frontier. On top of that note the Frontier seems to be very diverse? With obvious rivers and cliffs and supposedly little town settlements not just camp sites. I think the Frontier is more then a big enough free roam place. There is going to be alot more there then you think. Also did you forget that they said you will play as Conner as a kid so aka he will be a native american so obviously we will see native american settlements in the frontier. I think the frontier is going to have alot more oppurtunies then your thinking.

New york? it's a free roam place we just don't know anything about

Carribean, like others said we do not know but we do know it will be in there.

to be frank I don`t know if this would be good or bad, the idea of the freedom a game with this proportion would provide is interesting but I believe people would get bored of the game before they do everything a game like this could offer..

I just want to say philly will not be a free roam area, which i am sure you knew this and were just making a point.

I also agree that it is enough, mostly the towns looked somewhat similiar in style, in other AC games they could just make em look different. The towns are are going to bigger and from the looks of it look more diverse to me and the Frontier is going to be diverse as hell, do not be fooled by just the woods it's going to feature alot of stuff in there. I mean you did see the british outpost in the frontier did you not? there will be towns, rivers, camps, outposts, native settlements, beleiveable brittish patrols marching, wagons and people. Plus the seasons change how the game plays, it;s basically like you get 3 but when seasons change you get 3 new ones with diffrent looks and aspects.

Boston isn't 50 percent larger than Rome.

It's about 20% smaller than Constantinople.

I personally don't really care about size. Quality > Quantity. I just hope it isn't too much the same in each area -_-

I have and played Arkham City, it gets kind of boring after you have done the side missions and story.
