Hey all. Back again after a short break (E3 and all that). Anyway, here's a new episode of the Weapons Of AC for you all to enjoy. Hope we can take a few minutes away from debating Connor's alleigance in AC3, lmao!

You guys rock, thank you :D

As someone mentioned it in the video comments, what are your thoughts on the Arthurian legend of Excalibur? Do you subscribe to the Sword in the Stine version, or the Lady of the Lake version or the myth?

Well the sword in the stone was the first thing i ever heard about it way back with that animated film when i was a kid :P., but i think there's a more beautiful aspect to the lady of the lake version :).

Very educational and interesting as usual. Hopefully, it will clear up a lot of misconceptions among noobs too about how many there are and who held them.

I grew up with the sword in the stone version.
And i prefer that one, because in order to get it Arthur has to prove himself and earn it, instead of just being given it.
Also, i didn't know the relevance of the Norse image, so well done on educating me.

Joan of Arc received a vision telling her where the sword was located. When the Dauphin said he would have the finest sword forged for her, she declined, stating that God had told her the location of her sword. According to legend, the sword she found and used in battle, was Joyeuse, the Sword of Charlemagne the First.
