This Thread is dedicated to the P63 - a largely unsung plane that saw action with the vvs on both the EF and in the Pacific and, in all likelyhood, will kick some serious but.

the P-39 has handling "issues" (lets touch the joystick . . OH NO!!! FATAL STALLL!!!!)

well, not THAT bad, but it is hard to turnfight in, and not really fast enough to bnz . . .

how does the 63 stack up against it?

I usually stay away from the "asking for aircraft" stuff that appears on the forum,
I'm breaking my rule ----as a P-39 fanatic, I'd really like to have this on FB you know? I mean really!!

Yes P39 is one of the best dogfighters in FB.. Certainly not in old IL-2.. now its unstallable.. Only downsides are poor visibility and somewhat slow speed compared opposing LW-planes.. Just wondering which Flight model was correct.. in old IL-2 where it was very prone to stalling or in FB where it is one of the best Turn&Burn-planes..
