Is this possible in game:

Two planes, coming head-on 400 km/h, the other fires an MK 108

Velocity = 505 m/s + plane 1's speed + plane 2's speed = way over 800 m/s!

I think this is a very big leap in destructive power but is it modelled in game?

Yes I believe it is...that and striking a target from an oblique angle does more damage than hitting from a dead six position.

Relative velocity 800 kph = 800,000 meters per hour.

800,000 meters per hour / 3600 seconds per hour = 222.2... meters per second.

505 + 222 = how much over 800?

Relative velocity at 800 kph just over doubles the KE of the shell, at muzzle.

With range the speed and KE drop off.

The KE of a Mk108 MG shell is a bunch less than 1/2 of the total power.

The big bang is of course the explosive content.
