You take the *.pbo files and put them into your OFP\Addons directory. You can then use the addons in the mission editor under their respective sides (like Empty - Air).

rl2000-

head on over to the Operation FlashPoint Editor's website. I forget the URL...but a search engine should turn it up, no trouble. They have forums over there, as well as links, tutorials, downloadable missions, and more add-ons than I'll ever download! the guys there can have you flying that WWII airplane before you can say, "Roger, Maida Leader"

As Korolov pointed out you just need to drop the .pbo files in your \OperationFlashpoint\AddOns directory.

Some addons (like Trenchfeet's planes) come with an install exe really easy to setup.

The best way to try them out is through the mission editor. It's really easy to use, and it's well worth the effort. It takes seconds to create a simple mission. Literally. Although if you invest more time to learn the tricks you'll be able to create almost anything, specially once you'll know how to use triggers (BoB, take note)

These are the official forums. Lots of sections there, including one for Addons and another for Mission Editing:

Almost forgot. The Luftwaffe pilot is part of the Kolibri Pack, available here:

I hope it helps http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Chances are the addons have their own mod folder, usually with the author's/team's name. Like my addons would be under "West - Korolov's Units".

Resistance is pretty cheap these days, should be easy enough to get a copy of it.

Thanks a lot for the offer LeadSpitter http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
Thing is that during the evenings I'm trying to fly a bit more often with the F19 guys in FB, sorry... Not enough time for so many good games http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I still play OFP at lunchtimes. We've got a small group of 5 players and it's really easy to keep track of any new addon. Today I had a nice game paradropping in a German base, capturing the main buildings, and getting out in stollen Ju-52s and Storchs. Good fun.

Reload,
You can also get the game of the year edition (also known as GOTY). It's quite cheap these days and you'll get OFP + Red Hammer + Resistance in the same box. Resistance is well worth it anyway. It's the equivalent of "Forgotten Battles" for OFP.
