Has anyone got POP: Sands of Time running properly on the following system:

DELL Latitude C840, 2GHZ, 512 RAM, WIN2K PRO, DX9.0b, GFORCE4 440 GO 32DDR 4AGP, 43.45 Drivers?

I can get the game to run but sometimes the fps drops from say 20-30fps to about 5fps.

I also sometimes get a lot of gfx distortions on the screen.

To fix the gfx distortions I do the following:

1 Start up the game
2 Change each setting in gfx options to minimal (Except for screen resolution)
3 change screen resolution to 640 by 480 last
4 then the game should run fine
5 once u've loaded the game, you can then slowly adjust all gfx detail options to max (except for shadows and special effects) and increase screen resolution

Is there any proper way of fixing these distortions and fps problems?

Anyone?
