I feel like i'm finally getting a bit skilled at IL2, I was engaged with 5 mustangs and was solo on my bf109G10 a while ago, shot the wing off one first, they engage me, shot up another one and go him to bail, one gets behind me and messes up a wing of mine a bit and injures me pilot, I lower throttle and lower C-flaps, out manuever him, get him to crash into the ground, shoot down another mustang in a short low high speed chase(he cracked in half, yay!), and while chasing the last one got shot up by some reinforcements and had to bail...but I feel its quite an accomplishment from not even being able to fly the G-10 effectively, I use to find it too heavy to fly, but like someone replied to me once, I guess I just need my noob instincts to wear off. Anyways, not gloating, just real proud and thought I'd share http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif (The server was full real except icons were on) I think whats key is that I'm better at using the hat on my joystick to look around, at first it was wierd to me but now im relatively comfortable with it.

Sounds awesome, keep up the practice! It's a ton more fun when you know what you're doing!

Hate to burn your bubble, but 2 points:

1 - Those Pony boys must have been all-time n00bs.

2 - All >F Fb109s are superior to P51s in each and every category, much unlike real life.

Other than that, you have really achieved a wonderful life's accomplishment. Many, many congratulations. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/blink.gif

Well point is luftlover I've improved, even if they were noobs, it use to be impossible for me to even follow, nonetheless fire accuratley at a fighter and to me this is quite an accomplishment

Ok, I have confused you with a long time player of a similar name.

Glad you are better. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Congrats, friend! I get waxed when I face humans...and Ace AIs.

On the other hand, I did totally destroy my friend on the LAN the other day...his first time of course...He'll get better faster playing against people, right? I really should play online more.

I agree with that more than I do with the "109's are superior to mustangs in each and every category" although I do respect your opinion luftlover. I think the main thing when talking about mustangs however is that if its got energy, then its dangerous, and if it doesn't, its not. This is true for all fighters but is even true-er for the mustang, imo.

Anyways, congrats bud, keep on flying online, it gets funner and funner as you get better and better http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Sounds like a great fight. I like the g10 I been using the g14 alot lately and doing well flying it.

I Had a few of those in warclouds 8 allied spits stangs p63s vs 2 109 g6s encounters

Me and the other 109 survived we were both hit a couple times too but managed to get all 8.

Then you rtb land respawn in front of p38 rockets being fired http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif It gets you mad especially in warclouds when its 17 red vs 5 blue.

I hate the people who dont keep teams balanced.

But it was some great fighting and makes you so much better when you get alot of outnumbered fights and makes you not get target fixation.

Alot of times the enemies on six collide into each other being greedy then argue and fight whos fault it was, that makes me laugh http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
