Intresting to note that it looks like they originally had some idea of involving Petra in Jordan somehow.

You didn't know? AC1 was supposed to be Prince of Persia. However they strayed too far away from Prince of Persia and made a new IP.

Those Petra ones look really cool. Too bad we didn't get to go there. POE could easily be hidden there.

Considering Petra.. I noticed that the inside of Solomon's Temple (precisely, the place where Robert and the Apple are located) look almost exactly like Petra, compare for yourself:

I assume that they already modelled most of Petra when they decided to scrap it. Instead, they probably used the already existing models for Solomon's Temple.

Nice find! Gosh, I'm really gonna miss the Middle-Eastern atmosphere of AC1. Actually, no, scrap it. I miss it already.
