There's this weird giggling noise in Revelations. I can't figure out what it is. It's like a sadistic chipmunk giggle. Anyone know what it is?

Common, I know someone's heard it. Anyone else know what I'm talking about? I hear it all the time.

Are you talking about the multiplayer whispering sound? Or is it in single player?

Yeah it's a bit creepy and annoying, though I only heard (or noticed) it during the Altair memories. It's probably implemented in the game's soundtrack.. Try messing around with the sounds options maybe?

Single player. It's only in certain districts. It's some weird sound effect. I don't think it's in the sound track. It's almost like a sadistic laughing. Seems to trigger when you're moving around or doing something.

Also, I'm sure everyone has heard that weird staticky creaking noise when eagle vision is on. I wonder if it has the same effect like it did in the first AC. If it does, I'm not sure how to implement it. I thought it might help me find treasure chests but that didn't work so well.

In case you didn't know, in the first Assassin's Creed during your final fight with Al Mualim, he would disappear and you could pin point his general direction by turning on eagle vision and jacking up your audio you would hear a noise telling you the general direction he was.

Replay Sequence 5 - Heir to The Empire, Memory 6 – The Mentor’s Wake and Memory 7 – A New Regime. I think both of them have that sadistic giggling noise in them when you're at Masyaf. If not I know one of them does. If you haven't heard it yet, you're crazy. It's so weird.
