This thread might be slightly off-topic, but I would like to re-announce the Mid-Atlantic Air Museum's annual World War II Weekend this weekend, June 4th, 5th, and 6th in Reading, Pennsylvania.

200 period vehicles, over 1100 period living history interpreters and entertainters, and over 70 aircraft are scheduled to appear. Sorry, for some reason the aircraft list won't cut and paste from the MAAM web site without getting a "message body value" error when I go to post this topic. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_mad.gif Please go to www.maam.org (http://www.maam.org) for more details.

Since I am lucky enough to live 3 miles from the museum, I will be looking forward to seeing these aircraft arrive all week here in Reading. According to the MAAM site, the B-29 "Fifi" will be arriving on Tuesday, June 1.

I will also be looking forward to meeting any Il-2 community members that will be there. I plan on being there on Sunday, June 6th. I'll be meeting up with PBNA-Boosher at a scheduled time, yet to be determined, and at a certain aircraft, most likely the B-25 Briefing Time. To identify myself, I'll have a card on my backpack with "ShadowSix" on it. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif Hope to see you around at the MAAM WWII Weekend!! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif
