The meatballs and markings are clearly un historically accurate and the cockpit is way out of proportion. Nice first attempt.

I assumed you were going to follow up with a folded up picture of it. If I wasn't so lazy I'd use that as a template and fold up a paper plane.

I always just called them "those"
for example "I think the those on the A6m are waaaaay too oversized"
the person i'd be having a conversation would then look at me with a look of confusion...at which point i'd storm off infuriated because they didnt know what i ment...

Look at the size of those elevators. It's gonna fly like a brick at high speeds.

Too many polies (2 per surface). Make it triangular.

Zero? Are you kidding? What you see here is none other than the prototype J2M fighter design. It was accelerated to supersonic speed by rocket boosters, whereupon the exterior surface area was used as a combustion chamber to ignite hydrogen reserves and boost it above Mach 7. They never really figured out where to put weapons or a pilot.

I am absolutely disgusted by seeing such futuristic fantasy planes using up talent best applied to real craft. I WANT HISTORICAL CRAFT!!!!!!!!! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_mad.gif http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_mad.gif http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_mad.gif http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/icon_twisted.gif http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/784.gif http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/cry.gif

Hmmmm.... its cool, but you are going to have to model a wildcat to make it a fun game.

"As weaponry, both were good, but in far different ways from each other. In a nutshell, I describe it this way: if the FW 190 was a sabre, the 109 was a florett, or foil, like that used in the precision art of fencing." - G√ľnther Rall
